Thank you. When I played 2K21 I dressed my avatar in a horizontally striped shirt so that I could use the stripes to monitor the length of my pitch swings. It worked really well even though pitching in 2K21 was much more difficult to judge.

First of all, I respect the fact that you're putting out content for this game and that you acknowledge this is a challenging game. I'm a fairly consistent pro tour player on TGC. I feel like I can say with some level of confidence I possess a swing that is competitive at higher levels. The advice you give in these videos is maddening. I know this isn't a "one tool fixes all" kind of game but the results you're showcasing aren't a strong case for improvement. As long as I've been following you your swing has been wildly inconsistent. Even in this video; there's not a consistent swing that I can pin point and say, "okay, that's the swing he can rely on". For example; watch kawkster, or gamer ability or even Apex. Notice how they have a swing feedback that is almost like a thumb print and their "misses" stray from that. But whenever they zero back in, it's that swing that gets them there. A perfect example is Gamer Ability. He's not even someone I would consider as a Pro level player but look at his swing plane when he is dialed in with his driver. It looks the same EVERY time. You need to find that swing for you and IMO visual cues and partial swings are not ever going to be the answer. In my opinion and this is what has worked for myself and high level players I interact with on a regular basis, the feedback from the controller is your biggest tool in swinging consistently. That vibration cues your transition window. For the love of god use it. Stop looking at your player's animation. I don't know if anyone reading this has been a server/waiter but it's like carrying a tray of waters or a bowl of hot soup filled to the top. If you look at it while you are trying to walk it's... not pretty. If you look straight ahead your natural balance takes over and amazingly not only will you not spill it you'll be shocked to realize you have a certain level of dexterity in transporting items. To get the best results get a FEEL for what a good swing feels like. Get that muscle memory. Go to practice and swing 100x if you have to. Use normal, pitch, chip, flop, etc. Get the feel of every shot burned into your brain and I promise you will be such a better player. Apologies this is so wordy and I truly hope this is received in the helpful way it's intended. Ciao!

You have to remember just because that worked for you doesn't mean it works for everyone in the community. Also people don't have the time to spend in this game like many of the pro players. It is a challenging game, but the goal is to throw different ideas off the wall and give people options to fix their swing. I don't have the time to play 100s of rounds a month in this game. You also mention to find a feel. This video is exactly that. I found a feel and it works for me and is the reason I compete in the higher TGC tours. Just because I'm not in platinum currently doesn't mean this isn't a successful strategy. Golf is a game of managing your misses and inconsistencies. People who only play this game and put in 100s of hours a month will be more consistent. I don't have the time for that so inconsistencies will happen. My content comes from a non 2k next maker who gives you the honest truth and also gives advice based on the average person who doesn't have the time to commit to this game like a second job. At the end of the day it's a game and no one is making money from winning a TGC event. I offer options for people who are struggling. Just read the comments and you will see how many people have found one of my tips and it DRASTICALLY changed their ability to play this game. Just because you do it different doesn't make what I say right or wrong. Also doesn't mean your methods or kawkster or whoever is right or wrong. It's just a game and I literally started the video off by saying this isn't a method for everyone..........

Obviously the best players in the world who play everyday wouldn’t get much out of these videos. I also consider myself a decent level player . Registered like 5 weeks before playoffs started and made kinetic tour right before the end of the season in 21. I play maybe twice a week outside of tgc. Struggled with my swing on 23 and just now got moved up to CC-A this week. Had the same inconsistent tempo and developed a loop. And I think quick tips like these can be very beneficial to people who hit a slump but don’t have hours to fix it. Also, I honestly would argue if you want to develop a feel, take vibration off and learn your swing. I don’t think it’s helpful at all except for maybe partial shots. Learning your percentages and putt distance by look and feel is easier than relying on waiting to feel the vibration. But again that’s just my personal opinion
@kitbo502 жыл бұрын
I have tried this & it does work, you don't have to try & whack the skin off the golf ball, partial shots won't get you the distance you want but the accuracy is a lot better, many thanks for this tip its defo a game changer 👍
