Enjoyed the game. You should continue playing this. But you gotta start searching the locations completely before moving onto the next location, you're leaving valuable resources behind.

Also any Zombies you killed last run stay dead so if you killed all the zombies in one area, left, then come back right after, there will be no Zombies cause it takes time for them to respawn.

@@Piggyandsilly I recommend crafting a cooking station as soon as possible and cook soups through that. If you’ve collected enough raw meat, veggies, and water you should be able to cook a decent amount that will fill them up a decent amount.

You have to be strategic and you don't have to leave with a full backpack even if you get 5 essential items to take back then send the next most rested player out later to get the rest and maybe the zombies have moved on/respawned to other areas.

It is tough for sure I tried 2 different characters and only lasted 5 mins with each of them. The controls are to weird to use/awkward to move etc. This isn't the game for me but it did look interesting when Edge played it.

This is an updated reskinned "this war of mine." You should check that one out of you like the genre. Its an unforgiving genre. Mistakes will cost you. You have to really pay attention to what your doing, and make wise choices. Otherwise your people WILL die. Game looks good.

It is a hard game as the controls are so awkward to use. I even used a controller and only last 5 mins and 2 of the characters died. I just could get the hang of how to attack the zombies. Too frustrating for me that's for sure so I uninstalled the game.

FYI: You can go back to previous shelters and will find loot in them. Once you move to a new shelter looting it is no longer available.

If, IF they get some issues resolved, this looks interesting. But the inventory needs to stack more than 4 and for crying out loud, PLEASE just a tiny bit of realism as far as tool durability. Anyone should expect an axe to last for more than 2 zombies. Developers all seem to think that everything is made out of toilet paper and spit. Otherwise they are going to have to have weapons laying about everywhere.

Can’t expect realism in everything when it comes to video games. Plus it adds to the challenge. This isn’t an action game, it’s a survival game so you can’t just bulldoze your way through zombies. You have to play to smart. But regardless of what I said, I’ll agree that weapon durability could be a little better, maybe even give us a repair function.

It's a very hard game and to use the controls moving and attacking. I lasted 5 mins with 2 different sets of characters 2 died out of the 4 in no time. I could get the hang of how to attack the zombies

It seems to be based on the game This War Of Mine. The balancing is also somewhat similar, but a zombie game requires difficulty spikes like these. Realistically wise a single crowbar would last for years but not many players want to play that long.

I don't need 'God Mode' but struggle just for the sake of struggle bores me too. It's still early, hopefully the devs will find some balance. It has potential. You have a great day.

This is a great game, I really enjoyed it. What I would do is restart it, maybe use the same two peeps, but concentrate first on securing/improving your base (ie: stock up on food and weapons, improve work bench, bedroom and communal area, THEN look to explore. That might mean focus on the one or two POIs then look elsewhere. If that makes sense :) Otherwise thoroughly enjoyed myself. Hope there's loads more. You rock GE!!

okay I swear i saw a game very similar to this, yet it wasnt in 1980s and they used a drone to scan a head in a grassy area. however im pretty certain it was a side scrolling zombie game, made very recently like within the past year. and someone went through a school. is this another game? have i dreamt it? or was it this game, and they went a different direction? appreciate any help

The game has a lot of similarities to state of decay 1 & 2 (which are both awesome games btw!!) the main difference is the location and its side scrolled. I feel like the melee weapons break way too easy.... love the eerie atmosphere though and the zombies are incredibly creepy.

​​@@gameedgedI think the best pair is Hector and Kayla. The guy with the mental issues, is the worst he requires the most time and resources to try to fix. He eventually deletes himself. It's a lot easier to feed someone than it is to try to deal with a mental issue! If I was a developer I would add a feature that gives Hope based on the number of undead in the area. So as you kill 10 or 20 undead their density drops, thereby their hope goes up.

AM I wrong or could you have made the lockpicks and the cooking station in the same Day/phase since the cooking station took 3 slots and the lockpicks 1 or 2 slots. You have 5 slots to use on every phase as I understand it GE.

I mean yeah. I wanna have a character creation too in this game. But the characters dont really make me jittery as much since it of course takes place in america even if its in the 80's. If the story/gameplay is good. Then it wont really matter. I think this game is okay, but well see how it goes further. I think some of the characters fit perfectly in the 80s era.
