If the survivor finds the hatch first they can escape. This killer has hallucinations that he can teleport to, those are the doppelgangers you saw. You can dispel them so he can't use it but it'll spawn somewhere else later.

If Dashie plays DBD often like he played Mario kart, he would be very good at it. Still funny tho. But dash please when you run, look back to see how close the killer is and you can try to 360 or dodge their attacks/projectiles. Maybe some perks you can try are: self care, urban evasion, bond and iron grip or dead hard. Edit: she escaped through the hatch. That opens when you're the last survivor or if you have a key and at least 4 generators and 1 teammate is sacrificed/killed. Then you can open it and escape.

I'm very late and I doubt this comment will be seen but what happened at the end was the hatch. When you are the last survivor, a hatch will open at a random part of any map. If you find it, you escape. If the killer finds it, they can close it. Also there are a couple tips that can automatically make you better at this game too. First and foremost you need to use those bloodpoints to get perks lol. You can have up to four and they do things like make fixing generators faster. Also pay attention to the icons of the other players. When the claws are moving next to them it means they're being chased. This is when you can feel more safe making noises and saving people as the killer is preoccupied.

About the hatch, Dashie - When you're the last survivor in a match, an escape hatch will open to allow the survivor an extra chance to escape. The killer CAN close the hatch, though... which forces the last survivor to try to open the gates alone. However, if the survivor has a key, they can re-open the hatch to try escaping again.
