Particularly when playing with less than 10 people, I'd suggest turning off confirm ejects. Or go with one imposter. Also, play around with the vision -- maybe give crewmates smaller vision while keeping imposters' vision higher.

@@Benjiman20 It depends on the group you play with. My friend group likes to random lynch at any opportunity and as impostors plays it REAL safe. With no eject confirms and visual tasks off, it actually balanced it out to roughly a 50/50 win/lose rate in my group and also helped made the crew more cautious while helping the impostors play a little more ballsy. Also, no confirm ejects actually made it a lot more chaotic and fun since you don't know if there's one or two impostors left. Just balance it out depending on your group.

I recommend turning off the lights when a buddy system is put in place! It's a really good counter to that specific strategy, you get to sneak out away from your buddy for a bit and hopefully kill another person's buddy. Also, nice new logo! It'll take a bit to get used to before I can decide if I like it better than the old one though, of course

My strats were 1. sabotage lights then double stack kill in electrical cause everyone will be in tight to stay with their buddy 2. constantly hit o2 to seperate people 3. in a group of 5 (2imps 3inno), double kill then report and blame the last innocent - its high risk but could deliver a ton of scalps

Yeah, if people are joining up too much, there are at least 2-3 sabotages that can separate people. It's pretty easy to do lights and go for the person trailing behind someone else and the put the blame on them while you rotate in from a different direction

Yeah, I played with some high-hours players once, and the meta of always travelling in groups, knowing exactly how every task worked and how long it took, being super familiar with every mechanic, made the game... not at all fun. It works best as a friendly chaotic paranoid clusterfluff.

Here are some counters to teaming: -Dogpile strats (Killing in front of a lot of people and making it hard to tell who it was) -Crafting more elaborate lies (i.e. pinning the blame on other team's members, claim your teammate tried to kill you, etc.) -Using the sabotage menu to split people up -Playing with a lower crewmate vision and/or with confirm imposter off to limit crewmate knowledge

as an idea for others that dont know the game, any chance of changing the "imposters need x crew kills to win" to 'X MORE kills'. regardless loving this gameplay edit: also, i would recommend turning crew vision to .75X, so that its easier for imposters to do stuff

More kills wouldn't work. Once the number of imposters is equal to the number of crew it's impossible for the crew to get a majority vote on an imposter, so for all intends and purposes the imposters have already won at that point. Adding more players would help though, or playing with 1 imposter.

As soon as theres the same amount of imposters as crewmates u won. Also if theres 2 imposters left and 6 people in total u also win because u can double kill and close it off. Same goes with 3 people and 1 imposter

Playing hide and seek in Among Us is fun too. 1 imposter with their vison maximum and a quick kill cool down with the crewmates vison really low. You know who the imposter is from the start and you have to be the last person to be murdered by hiding/ running away constantly :D

Some good rules that will generally make Among Us a bit more fair to be the imposter: - can't buddy up or make plans for the following round so that way something like the buddy system doesn't break everything. You just have to trust your crewmates to make it work - lower crew mate vision a ton. like .5 or .75, gives imposters way more room to work -turn visual tasks off. Can't see if they were telling the truth -Turn off confirm ejects. You don't know if you've won until it's done. Using these rules helped me and my group have a lot more fun and it made it so that being the impostor wasn't a drag

Rules to Gameplay that ALWAYS make it more fun: 1. Play in separate spaces. The power of not hearing someone’s reaction to dying or being scared greatly improves gameplay. For corridor it may be as easy as playing at desks. 2. No meta discussions during meetings. No planning the next round, buddy systems etc. Grouping and such can be done in game, but cannot be planned. 3. If you called the meeting your in charge. The person who calls the meetings gets to say their peace and guide the discussion. If things get out of hand, they can say “it’s my meeting” and rein it back in. Big improvement!!! 4. If you’re playing 2 imposters you really need 9 or 10 people. 1 imposter works up to 6 people. That middle ground, 7-8 people doesn’t work very well. Get special guests, invite friends, find a way to make the lobby work. 5. Lastly, don’t immediately start the next game. Give the lobby time to laugh, be in shock, and remember the last game. It makes the game session much more fun, less sweaty, and a memorable experience. This should help both the Corridor folks and fellow dobe-haters enjoy this awesome party game. It’s a great COVID activity. I’ve been able to bring together family sessions which are a hoot. Adios from TX
