Right?! I keep half thinking that as soon as they switch the camera off, the contractors step in to continue the work. Having watched these two for almost 8 years now, I'm very sure that's not the case - they're two very fearless, capable people.

Hello Allison and Eric. Well done so far. You took pride in your work and now you are off for Fall in Canada, eh? I had Spring in Canada once. It went from snow and ice to hotter than UK summer in a couple of weeks, but you could still kick soil away and find ice on forest walks. I had a month in Texas before that and at the first sign of Spring the TV adverts proclaimed summer had arrived.

Me and my boyfriend are going nuts watching you two doing all the work without gloves! Stop that!!!! Go and buy HyFlex gloves, a whole bunch of them. They are like nitrile gloves, just an extension of your skin but protects you. We just finished a 3 year renovation of 1930's house in Finland. May I recommend Rossland BC Canada, its an old mountain ski town where a lot of Olympic hopefuls came from for years, they have a great history museum and its just a really cool little town. Every winter in late January they have a winter festival that's really fun and its been going on since 1895.
