Why are people complaining that ele has a good dps build now? Ele fell off hard for a while, just be happy for the tempest enjoyers, and move on lmao

I should say that Wash The Pain Away! is essentially worthless with Overload Water, which does everything that the shout does, except better. Glyph of Harmony can be better than WTPA even without condi cleanse that WTPA gives. Since you're playing a sylvari, you can even use Healing Seed to give yourself regen, and if you have Lucid Singularity, even the 45 secs cooldown would be of less importance to you.

does the glyph heal every time the overload hits, or does it count as single cast?

@@Rsjabber_ Both the WTPA and Glyph of Harmony have the same cooldown, but WTPA is a channeled ability(three pulses instead of just one) unlike the Glyph. And yes, the Glyph is a single cast. Plus, Glyph can cast a boon based on the attunement you're in with Inscription trait, which was not used in this case.

IMO the only downside of this build could be that it`s quite squishy with only around 16K health what could be a problem for less expirienced players.

It's also incredibly boring to play, half the rotation is spent overloading. I'm kinda upset this is so much stronger than other ele dps builds.

Don't be upset that it's so strong, be upset that other weapons/ class setups suck more. Most ele build stick to a rigid 2 element combo anyway. drop into other elements for boons/combo fields and back to your 2 preferred elements. I'm here for big Joko dps for ele since it is so frail. Don't worry though, something will get nerfed cuz reasons, and it will mess with the entire ele class as a whole. Overloads can be kind of lame, yeah. Its one of the sacrifices tempest makes for its tradeoffs. Ele has a ton of small cast times and delays in general. it can be annoying.

@@NDfeerer10 I feel like the overall DPS in the game is too high. In my opinion the highest DPS specs should be at most 42k, depending on class difficulty and utility options. For example, although Mirage can bring a bunch of useful utility, it's so hard to play it deserves to be top dps. Same with Elementalist specs, they are squishy, bring basically no utility and are relatively hard to play.
