Hey Jimmy just a bit of a history lesson - the R31 Skyline is super popular in Australia also because it was actually locally manufactured here by Nissan Australia! It had a RB30 as the standard engine which was the same RB30 from the VL Holden Commodore also locally built.

I'm actually so damn chuffed that the first car you drove was the R31. That car was made for me as a touge team car that I used to compete with in touge union "battle stages" as they were known then when I was a teen. I've owned 3 of them IRL and despite the choice obviously having nothing to do with me it just warmed my heart to see someone else pick the boxy Nissan first as well ❤

just wanted to share a Moza experience of mine since they seem to be spending a lot on marketing lately. when their shifter went live for sale they announced it on their discord and i happened to be looking there at that moment so i was likely one of the first to view the store page for it, yet i found there were already three 5 star reviews. i figured "maybe the reviews are from people sent one early for the purposes of reviewing." well, the content of the reviews quickly tossed that idea in the bin. the reviews were a mix of "hmm i like that it has seq and h-pattern i'll think about it" and "i didn't end up ordering it because of xyz" -- so none of the reviews even had the product, but all 5-star. i posted a screenshot in their discord and asked if anyone else found the reviews weird, because it seemed suspicious to me. instead of hearing my concerns out (and i was genuinely interested in it as my wheel and pedals are Moza) they just instantly banned me from the discord. a suspicious response to say the least. i also had a lot of issues even getting my products in the first place (nearly 6 mos of delays) and now i have issues with my SRP brake pedal literally exploding under use because the spring will just slip and propel all of the parts of the housing everywhere. i won't be buying anything else from them again

Forgive me Jimmy, for I have sinned. During an online race on Brazil in F1 2022, I had a player attempt to take me out on the second to last lap of the race, down the starting grid straight and into t1. I assumed it was a mistake, maybe he tried to dive bomb and just missed his braking point. We continued. Into the sharp left hand corner, he does the same thing, hitting the rear of my car and spinning my car out. Now I thought it was a little weird but whatever. He doesn't give the position back but I recover fairly quickly and over the next few turns regain the position. In the sharp right hand going into the sweeping left, he pulls the same stunt, this time at higher speed. It should be mentioned that it was around this point that I realised damage was turned off for the race (I hadn't been hit too badly before now). I got mad, saw red and sent it full throttle straight into his car on every turn after that, I know it's childish but I was so fed up and it had been a long race. My friends were in the lobby, and both of them had complained about the same racer, so it seemed to be repetitive. Every time I'd hit him, I'd give the position back. Not to be fair - no. It was simply so I could hit him again. It felt amazing but looking back, I probably should've just given him the position and let him take the win over me. Anyway, storytime over, enjoy :)

jimmy, watch Initial D if you havent, if you already have, you could be on the Akina Apeed Stars (ASS) lol, the R31 isnt that great, just thought of this quip when the evo did the gutter run. love the content, and the honesty, the minimal effort on hiding mistakes makes your content, IMO 1000% , better and more relatable for poor boys like me that cant afford a sim system. keep doing you, keep killing the track IRL, and thank you for your honest passion you share in your videos.

One thing I noticed is you made an error with the engine code the rbs only have the d if its a dualcam engine but the rb20 is a single cam same as the rb30 so it would be RB20E+T since the R31 youre driving is turbod and same would be applied for the upgraded rb30 as it was common in australia to get them in the r31 and it was also the same engine in the Holden VL Commodore the RB30E / RB30ET
