Ok, yes, one of the prettiest places that I've been to in CA!! (NYer living in CA for 20 yrs now) Very sentimental for me, last time I was there I was with my mother, and grandparents, who are all now gone😢I teared up seeing the view of the beach and those majestic trees, beautiful memories. I live near Carmel and you’re right. It is such a beautiful place. There are so many beautiful places in California 😊 we love the Monterey Bay Aquarium and eating at The Fish Hopper.

Carmel is a Beautiful little town. My favorite part was the "Carmel Mission" The court yard was so Beautiful. Spring is the best time to go through it. I also enjoyed the white sand beach and glorious blue/green water. Awe what a sight. Glad you guys took the trip

We went to Carmel-by-the-Sea for vacation right before Covid hit. I think it was during winter, and the day we went to the beach, everything was kind of foggy. We got out and explored the beach for a little bit, then one of my siblings pointed out to sea and started yelling, "Look! Dolphins!" Sure enough, there was a pod of dolphins jumping out of the water not far away. It was unforgettable. On that same trip, we went to Monterey Bay Aquarium. It's AMAZING. I'm glad you were able to have such an awesome vacation, Shane and Hannah. Here's to many more awesome experiences!

I suggest, if possible, you take the drive down Highway 1 through Big Sur sometime between Carmel and Morro Bay. Guaranteed some of the most spectacularly beautiful scenery you will ever see anywhere in the world.

What a beautiful place to visit and celebrate Hannah's belated birthday! I live in Hawai'i (on the island of O'ahu) so I know what lovely ocean views are like and where you can really see whales in the winter, but Carmel seems to have a calming, relaxing atmosphere, and the cool, crisp air and the chance to sit beside a warm fire do make it a very cozy romantic getaway. However, now that you're in California and much closer to Hawai'i than Minnesota, I hope you will be able to arrange a visit to the islands for a more warm, tropical vacation as the humpback whales do from December to April to give birth to and start raising their young. And BTW, I have been enjoying June's Journey for about a year now. I don't really care about cluttering up the estate with all those buildings, gardens, and people (so many active players' places can't add anything more), or following the complicated stories closely, but I just like finding the hidden objects and accumulating points to get a few things and keep playing.

Carmel is Beautiful!!..& So is Monterey!! My husband & I went in a 2 week vacation there (like a Second Honeymoon)!! Loved the Pebble Beach Golf Course!! Deer were roaming around on it!! The restaurant’s are Lovely!! We Also went to Big Sur!! Ate at a Restaurant with a Huge Window!! Beautiful Sunsets!! We had a jacuzzi right next to Our Bed!! Went to Half Moon Bay!! Gorgeous Beach!! Clint Eastwood was Mayor of Carmel for many years in the 1980's. John Steinbeck did a few movies on Cannery Row & in Salinas. I lived in Salinas for 7 years it's another nice little town. It's where John Steinbeck is from & buried in Salinas.. Thomas Kincade enjoying doing his paintings of light in Carmel.. So much history there

Thats funny! My family and myself where just there. We stayed in Pacific Grove. My great-grandmother used to work at the Cannery that is now the aquarium.
