Getting to travel, getting to film, getting to ride, and who is he hurting besides himself anyway? Maybe you should focus more on just watching the videos and not allowing yourself to let any of your thoughts leak out of your brain and into any comment sections.

we came down from Canada on the weekend to watch; we parked by the house on the pro pits side and there was a shortcut through a ditch into the other parking where we walked along the fence and right when we got by the road the gate was open so we strolled through and you were like the 3rd person we saw. I've met plenty of riders I've watched on T.V but I saw you and top chick and felt the presence of greatness. We didn't stop and say hello cause there was a few people but it was a shock seeing you guys. Didn't know you were going to be there. Bummed for your knee but it'll heal if you let it haha

You are an absolute gladiator. I wanna say ‘get back on the bike as fast as you can’ cause i love seeing you up there, but honestly, i’d much rather you take your time and get back healthy. I really admire a guy that can go out on a seemingly random saturday and stand among the 40 baddest riders in the US on that day. If you had to see yourself from the bottom of the mountain like the rest of us, you’d be just as perplexed as the rest of us on how a guy with a pickup and a tent got up there😂. But for real: we’re wishing you a full and speedy recovery, so you can get back up there; no coice.

I used a bicycle to help my knee back into action. Do the work with the good leg, letting the injured one just go along for the ride. I never needed surgery and with medical errors being the third leading cause of death, I'll take that as a win.

was lucky enough to race it in the 90s amateur day. they cut the screw-u and some of the back side hills, but what an amazing, brutal, and FAST track...even back then.the true "natural terrain" MX track. just long, fast ups, downs, and off cambers. they've actually added a lot of man-made stuff to it over the years. gravity cavity is the only big jump I can recall from back in the day. typical of unadilla too: no landing. just send it a dozen times to created your own landing area. 😆

This is medical advice. I was accepted into 2 medical schools but didn't have the money to go and I torn my acl and had to have it redone because the Dr, who was the physician for the Olympic team at the time, caused an infection. First, get the swelling down. You can safely take up to 800 MG of ibuprofen 3 times a day. You can test your acl yourself by sitting on a chair with your legs hung over the front. Grab behind your shin and pull forward while holding your thigh with the other hand. You should have minimal movement. Compare to the other knee. You can pop your knee and not tear and acl. I did this when I had my foot got bumped and I ran over it. Yes, I ran over my foot. As far as tearing the acl, you can ride with a torn acl but it takes several weeks before the knee becomes stable and it will never be completely stable. I waited almost a yr to have my acl surgery. I first couple of months after the initial injury, my knee would buckle on a rough track and every time I'm trying to squeeze the bike, so constantly. At a yr post injury it was pretty good, but a doctor talked me into having surgery and then the infection. That infection destroyed my meniscus which left me with bone on bone. I still ride and even run, although doctors said I wouldn't be able to. First step is getting the fluid out then strengthen by riding a bicycle. You probably have a tear in the meniscus and possibly the acl is compromised. Usually the go hand in hand. I hope that you heal up quickly
