New subscriber here! Thanks for the great value man! I have the following questions, since I just started with prop firms. 1. Is trade copy allowed but FTMO, so I mean copy live with the challenges? 2. If not, the unique IP addresses should cover it right? 3. Also, what if i want to risk 1% on all accounts but my FTMO has limit of 50 lots and the 1% is above the 50 lots. Does it take the maximum possible amount of lots then (e.g. 0.7%)?

No worries! Thank you for the feedback :) 1. Yes copy trading is allowed for phase 1, phase 2, and funded phase with FTMO. 2. You don't need a unique IP address for FTMO (I never heard of anyone having issues with this) but you can have it with the dedicated environment through Traders Connect. 3. Not sure about this one. Best to ask Traders Connect support. Hope that helps bro!

Hi. What if may I open a trade for a symbol that isn’t on one of the slave accounts? Or if the slave account doesn’t allow an overnight position or weekend position for that symbol, but the master does? Thanks!

hi there man great content can the master account be a demo account meaning as for your case ic markets demo and the trade will be copied to the live slave accounts eg prop accounts?

I am not sure what you mean? Are you managing capital for other people? Are they paying you to manage their accounts?

I can see you emphasize opening a live IC Markets accounts even if small like $500 to use as the master account over slave accounts. Is there any difference opening a DEMO IC Markets accounts since apparently they offer the same price & volume feeds, minus the slippage errors sometimes present in LIVE accounts. Am I missing out on something or the Demo price feeds are different from Live Markets

I believe you should be fine with a IC Markets demo account. I haven't personally used it but the trading conditions should be absolutely the same as on the live account :)

I believe it should be fine, just double check if there isnt a time limit on the demo account. Sometimes demo accounts are only valid for 30 or 60 days. So just be aware of that

It can yes. This is the fastest trade copier so you shouldn't have issues :)

how does the traders connect calculate the risk percentage if you havent put the copy stoploss and the take profit settings

It knows the equity values of all accounts and adjusts the risk by lot size. Stoploss input doesn't matter. Only the lot size and the equity value is needed as an input for Traders Connect to proportionally calculate the lot size for all slave accounts.

@@markostradingjourney what if I risk 5 percent a trade of a $100,000 and my account goes do to 80,000 due to some drawdowns,it will still risk 5 percent of the initial account balance which was $100,000 and not $80,000 dollars right?

Since not copying SL will look like we trade without SL to prop firms, could this result in them flagging us as a high risk trader with whatever implications this may have (B-book, deny payout or even ban)?

Most prop firms don't have a required stoploss rule so you won't get flagged at all. Some prop firms do have this rule and with those prop firms you must copy the stoploss. Make sure you read into all of the rules of the particular prop firm that you use. For the ones I use (FTMO, Alpha, Darwinex Zero) the stoploss is not required. :)

For a unique IP address you will need to choose the dedicated environment option and pay extra money.

You can! So basically when you enter a buy it will execute a sell setup on the prop firm? Is that what you meant?

Copying trades from your master account to your prop firm account is allowed on most prop firms. You do need to check with the particular prop firm you are using. What is not allowed is copying the same trades from other traders on the same prop firm.
