QOTD: The changes haven't impacted my gameplay much... yet. But I imagine when a very desirable raid boss like Mewtwo or Alolan Raichu (... well, for me anyways lol), or a powerful Mega get released, the inability to accept all the raid invites will really sting Edit: I haven't used any Remote raid passes since the change. But that's mostly because the bosses haven't been interesting enough to me to use one

4. I live in a pretty cold area for most of the year, but I don't find xl legendary candy super essential to my over all enjoyment of the game. I have a set Masters league team, and its overkill to have level 50 legendarys for raid attackers. I also joined the game in 2022, but I knew for a long time that the remote raids wouldn't last forever. I think a limit on remotes would have been enough, and keep the bundle at 300, and keep the premium pass bundle at 250

Love seeing fighters in the ML! QOTD: 2 right now, I feels less inclined to go to gyms and host because the wait is longer but there's also more players around now so in person raids are easier. The change did force me to consider my raids teams for Dialga and Zacian, when they return in raids I basically have to be able to solo them with my two accounts. So in a sense the update will make me play more.

10 in a positive way. I used to get 296 xl candy for each legendary using remote raids. Now I don't raid at all. Still love pokemon go, still expanding colection, hunting shinies, enjoying pvp etc. I just don't spend money anymore and I spend less time at home playing it.

QOTD: It would be a 10 for me because the closest town to me only has 1700 and has only a few gyms. This tactic from niantic was the straw that made me completely lose my hope in niantic. This along with the several bugs that has been happening has made me put all my shinies from pokemon go into pokemon home to use in the main games. I am now unable to beat anything above 3 star. It was not until remote raids i had been getting shiny legends.

For QOTD it hasn’t affected my gameplay at all. I always use free passes and a few premium ones every Wednesday for raid hour with my group. Spending copious amounts of money on remotes was never a good idea.

QOTD: 1-2 really for myself. I rarely join remote raids unless it’s a T5 or mega I’m chasing. But I know it’s impacting a lot of players in our local discord raid hours because there’s less remote players joining to assist. We have had a decent increase in in-person raiders though, which I guess is the point Niantic are going for.

Hi Callum QOTD: in our country pogo is not officially released so we are mostly free to play but with the latest decisions the world wide players got effected so no one is excepting our raid invites with our small community it’s impossible to take down a raid boss like Lugia for example I just hope things become better for everyone that got effected

QOTD Haven't impacted me at all as of yet as I am pretty much a F2P player. @CallumOnToast Yes I accidentally chose the wrong team when entering the battle. Luckily for me, as zapdos put in some fine work that game with proper energy management. I was caught off guard at first when i realised i had chosen another team then the one i intended to run. It was a privilege battling you.

QOTD: No huge impact to my gameplay outside of long lobbies for hosting remote raid and removing my ability to whale for master league. I imagine some of the weird move choices in these matches is just because people don’t know how to deal with G. Zapdos since it isn’t really used. See some weird plays against Gholdengo as well.

There was so much joy my friends got from the game and it's starting to show that my last group seems about done. Just unsure of what my local community will look like going forward

QOTD: 7. I was already doing the "tank for dust" this season because GBL barely changed. Now, I couldn't even find the motivation to grind Lugia even though I have a lucky with 150 XL candy already. If they introduce some non-legendary viable pokemon for Master league, or a way to garner rare candy XL easier, I'll re-join the grind.

QOTD: I would say the remote raid nerf has affected how I play pogo. Instead of saving up pokecoins for a bundle of 3 remote raid passes, I'm actually saving up for that 999 box of 15 green passes and then I'm going to use them with a local raiding group that I found while I did the regielecki raids once the raid boss is actually good. I still wish the remote raid passes were at least a little cheaper for the rural and disabled players though; and Niantic's silence on this issue has made me lose respect for them. Also, I've gotten one remote raid pass from weekly rewards, but I'm honestly not going to use them and instead get 3 so I can start getting a whole bunch of green passes. Unless that raid pokemon is really good or Niantic makes some changes, I'm not going to use the remote raid passes for a while.

9 Barely playing now. I'm part of 2 local communities (around 40 in one and 60 in the other), both have shifted from 100 messages a day down to single digits. No raids, remote or in person are being organised. Honestly, this is going to be the death of both groups. Very sad. I'm TL50 with 416m XP, >6k raids and sadly I no longer think the PoGo will survive.. totally headed in the same direction as WoW.

I also felt angry that Niantic was punishing players rather than improving existing features or fixing longstanding bugs. I have quit the game but I still enjoy your GBL battles :)
