Wow! Fantastic fish, but at $70 to fish, they'd certainly better be! Unless things are already overcrowded, I always try to give a fisherman or group a wide berth, since I wouldn't appreciate their crowding in on me, either. I wasn't there, and can't judge the distances, but I would have bypassed that hole, since people were already there, if I were already going up-and-down the stream. Why not? They may have been rude to insist you move on, but they had a small point, since they were already there. You certainly handled the conflict in a peaceful and Christian manner, though. Besides, you got the best revenge: Lots of high-quality fish!

That guy was mad because he wasn't catching them - DUH - if they are not biting change locations or techniques. The fish "tell" us what they do or don't want - many times WE don't listen. Insanity - doing the same thing over and over expecting different results...also the definition of fishing at times
