I'm really just being a cry baby and beating a dead horse at this point, but decks like this and then current evolve shaman are forcing the meta to do two things: 1. Play aggro 2. Play disruption I think a good meta is one that doesn't promote either of these things. We need more midrange and less metas that are warped around having to play either lightning fast or disrupt combos/high rolls

I tweaked this deck a bit by removing both SI:7 Extortion and added Zola + Scabbs (the hero card) instead. Zola adds an additional option in the place of Shadowstep and Scabbs (played early after activating Bonelord) can win you some time by reseting the board.

The Scabbs definitely sounds like a great choice to add and tweak the deck because you can’t even pop off until Thaddius’s polarity is set to Odd-Cost cards during YOUR turn. I’ve made the mistake of playing him without realizing he’s switched polarity while in your hand. I thought it was only while he was in play.

Brann being reintroduced into standard was a bad idea, old hearthstone battlecrys VS modern hearthstone battlecrys are quite different. old Brann was great for discovering extra cards, making your opponents spells cost 10 more, but now with modern hearthstone he has become an OTK combo piece.

I just want to point out that I know that this particular deck is not toxic and just a meme. However, any card that doubles baseline mechanics like battle cries always has to be planned around and has the potential of becoming a pollutant in the game's design.

@@meisalonowo9064 run any tech card and they insta lose. Theo or mutanus always wins unless they hit the actual nuts. Also renethal forces second shadow step for combo. You’re never really killing bonelord on 5 with all your combo + second shadow step.

Why would they need to nerf a tier 4 deck that gets outclassed by every agro deck and doesn’t do enough damage to beat most mid range decks? You literally need to play a potato to pull it off currently. Don’t nerf cards because you don’t know how to play around them😂 literally any disruption and you instantly concede. Any armor gain? Concede. Agro? Concede. renathal? Concede.

@@Deathnom I’ve outlined there’s TONS of counterplay. Any class that can gain any armor instantly wins against it. Most renethal decks are instant wins against it. You can put Theo or Mutanus in your deck as disruption to instant win as well. The only way you lose is if they draw the nuts and you aren’t teching for it. I’m a Rogue main currently playing the deck in diamond mmr and it’s literally the worst deck I’ve ever played on ladder with. You don’t hit combo half the time and when you do half the time it isn’t lethal anyways or you’re dead before you can play Thad. Its a total meme deck and that’s all. It doesn’t consistently beat anything and if it did you can tech around it and they instantly concede. Don’t fall for the clickbait my guy, even Regis basically says it’s complete trash.
