Currently, you could save money by purchasing a FireCube, setting up your own router, and subscribing to a few IPTV services to find the one that suits you best. It's a cool gadget, but it comes with a hefty price tag. Hopefully, you won't encounter any issues like the "circle of death" given what you're paying. I'm intrigued and considering trying it out myself. I'll definitely keep an eye on this item.

I and my 3 sisters and niece have a Tanggula z5. I is good but we all have excessive buffering. We all live in different parts of Texas and have over 300 to 1000 megs internet. Keep calling them and finally the will do something and it will work good for 2 weeks and then same thing over and over. If you like watching tv in segments get one

connect the boxes straight into ethernet cable from router problem solved. if that doesnt solve it then the problem is the servers that the box is useing is overloaded.

For the price it should at least have an ATSC tuner built in for local over the air TV antenna channels. A Roku or Tablo offers a lot at a much friendlier price.

I own the Tanggula and the Super Box .. they are both great boxes .. if you are looking for more international channels like South America and European then go with the Tanggula.. The Tanggula has much more VOD and Live TV channels .. Super Box is also a great choice but limited

These boxes look like they might be good for older TV's that aren't smart but the majority of people already own smart TV's now a days and even those have the capability of giving you 100's of different channels to watch including KZbin, which is free, or apps for any subs you might have. Cool box though.

So to say that the box will pay for itself in just a few months when the average yearly IPTV sub is about $80 a year and this box is nearly $400. that means that it would take almost 5 years for this box to pay for itself. And that's assuming the live TV service will last that long, which is the main selling point of this malware infested China box. Try again, with the stupid Strawman argument.

Boxes like this have been around for over 10 years. Free sites that work until they get hit with legal lawsuits for copyright infringement. Then they close down. If you have the box for a year before they get shût down then you can get your monies worth.

I know virtually nothing about this box, but assuming it works, if you can afford cable, you can afford the box. And after 4 months or so your TV watching becomes free so you are saving $100-200 a month. But like I said, I know nothing about it. A lot of people here seem to think its shady.
