I’m a criminology student and to me this gives of 100% sociopath. People with an anti social personality disorder tend to have little to no empathy towards others. I have studied hours of confessions from sociopathic killers and this is no different from them, they tend to lay out all the facts and details straight away with no emotion. I don’t think this is something she processed and came to terms with as in cases where this happens the perpetrator will often break down in emotion and be very remorseful or even show relief that it’s finally over. She seems as if this is nothing more than an inconvenience to her and doesn’t see how this is a tragedy or that their lives had value.

@prescottperfection6354Ай бұрын
@@Zara69513criminology is like a mix of sociology, psychology and law. It’s not as in depth on the psychological and legal side of things though. Depending on the university, you can choose elective modules such as psychology or forensic psychology if you do criminology, and this will be taught in the school of psychology instead. It’s primarily the sociology of crime and you will have a lot of modules of pure sociological theory (think Marxism etc) so if that’s not your thing then I would recommend studying one of the other subjects I mentioned instead. It’s more about looking at crime through a wider societal lens, rather than looking into individual criminals and their minds. I will say, I studied law at A-level, then went on to study criminology for my undergraduate; I much preferred law.

The woman planned to kill her parents for 3 months before she murdered her parents, she was dosing drinks she gave her parents with drugs to test what dosage to use. She murdered her parents for life insurance money due to being in debt, she lied to her family and said they were on holiday when they were potentially already dead at the time. The lack of empathy, no emotion shown at all is quite chilling.

@@MaXxOwnagesMelyou're right, it's not a stench that can cut through bank vaults. But most housing structures, based on the area she appears to be living in, don't use thick materials to partition between houses, not to mention the house was not looked after. Cracks and holes are all that's needed. Not to mention, bodies rot over time (unless preserved). Rotting flesh and carcasses will turn to sludge and seep through flooring, like waterlogged damage from a leaking pipe. This is classic psychopathy. The total lack of emotion, callous disregard for anything but her own needs, the financial recklessness and her entitlement are classic. She cries when she talks about the hammer. At that point it appears she wants to be validated as 'good' and 'helpful' for 'doing the right thing'. Image is clearly important to her. Her use of 'humour' is wildly inappropriate and socially she's clearly unable to read clues. It's rare to see such an obvious example of psychopathy but it's all there. Horrific.

I live in this city. I have lived at one point almost opposite their house. I have walked last their house on Pump Hill countless times. Her parents were very quiet, mind their own business type of people. There were rumours about the family even when the parents were alive, but as dead people cannot defend themselves, I will not say what those rumours were specifically. Even if true the rumours don't justify her actions. The excuse they moved away wouldn't wash with friends and family surely as phones still work in Clacton, emails still work in Clacton, postal service still work in Clacton, modes of transport still lead to Clacton... So I as a family/friend would not buy this for four years, especially if it was my parents. Not four days would pass without me raising suspicion never mind, four weeks, or four months never mind four years! The others siblings made a statement which under normal circumstances I'd agree with but something is not mathing... They said something along the lines of... They would be missed beyond measure. We had no chance to say goodbye. Tell them we loved them. We have been robbed of time and loving bonds with our mum and dad for years to come. How dare she do to our family it's not right. Mum delighted in her grandchildren. Mum and Dad always enjoyed spending time with us, family was their price and joy. Now I don't doubt their grief and loss for a second. I question... Didn't you miss them in the four years they were deceased? Didn't you think of saying Hi Mum, hi Dad in four years? Didn't you have four years in which you had zero communication when you didn't feel robbed of time with them? Didn't your Mum who delighted in her grandchildren not raise a red flag for any of you when no birthday, Christmas cards, gifts, phone calls or visits came for four years? No one thought? That's odd Mum loves little Janet so much she'd never miss her birthdays, better call her see what's going on? Didn't them not spending time with their price and joy, which they loved doing, spark one twinge of suspicion in four years in a single one of you? I'm sorry for your loss, I truly am but I'm just finding this so hard to believe. I hope your parents are now at peace, I hope now justice has been served, your hearts can heal.

There is just something not adding up...

This is the most harrowing and surreal case I've seen in a long time. It wasn't even the deceased relatives who reported them missing, it was their GP's who contacted police after not seeing or hearing from their patients in so long. Why it took years to flag I'll never know, it's all a bit strange. Things ought to be in place with GP practices and hospitals whereby vulnerable patients miss appointments or are not heard from within an allotted time frame, the police are contacted to do welfare checks. She's a psychopath, in fact the definition of one. Cold, calculating, manipulative, and emotionless with no iota of regard or empathy. The fact she said to the arresting officer - "Cheer up, you caught the bad guy" is very telling and chilling, indeed.

It appears that she has accepted that she has been caught but still feels the urge to direct the proceedings. She also doesn't show any empathy, emotion, a sense of relief that it's all over, remorse for her actions or a realisation of what most people would regard as a double, personal tragic loss. It's a reminder of the thin line between normalcy and insanity, and how quickly things can spiral out of control. Videos like this serve as a stark reminder of the importance of awareness and understanding of mental health issues, as well as the need for effective measures to prevent crime. It’s scary to think this could happen to anyone, and it's crucial that we engage in conversations about crime prevention and mental health support. It feels like there's so much more to uncover about the motivations behind these actions, and I think many viewers are left with questions about morality and justice after seeing the stories unfold. This really makes you think about the complexities of the human psyche and the societal factors that contribute to criminal behavior. Truly mind-boggling!"

When I saw the OG Video for the first time I felt so angry I could’ve set my phone on fire.

@@jessicahoward9046 because how could someone kill their parents and just say “well you’ve got the bad guy” it’s such a scummy thing

Her saying ‘it’s complicated’ when asked where he DEAD mother’s body is send SHIVERS down my spine, it suggests that the mum fought back and I can imagine the horror her mother felt knowing she was fighting for her life because of her kid

I didn't think True Crime Cam with the doughnuts would be a thing but I am here for it! ... Oh my gods that woman. Disturbing and yet fascinating ...

When I watched the original video - I honestly wondered why no sibling had been around to see their mum and dad. Like surely if you was that worried, you would at least attempt to go round regardless of thinking they’d moved away. 4 years with no phone calls or checking in on them, it just doesn’t add up in my head. I would never wait more than a week to check in on my mum and dad.

I’m in uni studying to be a criminal lawyer and if you corporate with the police and tell the truth an help them in the case they will pass it onto the judge and it can actually lower there prison sentence upto 5 years and possibly more if they get out with good behaviour

I think you're missing several pertinent points. She's not gloating and showing off, she's clearly used up all her emotion in the last 4 years and is now probably almost relieved to be able to tell someone and get it all out. She's not being grandiose or anything. She's probably ly been though all the various ways her capture and aren't will go and is not just openly telling the cops because there's no use hiding anything at this point. She's clearly not after validation, she's just matter of fact because for the past 4 years she's had the stress of having 2 dead bodies in her house. It's probably a relief to be able to tell them everything.

What I want to know is how did no one know they were dead. What if someone texted them or made plans with them and they didn't show up. If my uncle didn't hear from my mum im sure he'd come see her if she was ok
@dwaynethefrogАй бұрын
i wonder what the parents did to warrant that because this woman is fully conscious of her actions and accepts the consequences. she knew exactly how she'd be punished and knew it was inevitable, yet still thought it was worth it to get rid of those parents. not that they deserved it whatsoever, i think there's just a bit more nuance
