@@TheLuxuryHomeShow I’d love to bring my grandchildren there. I love in the north east area of the US where I live. I lived in FL for about 28 years. My kids don’t remember snow because they were so young. None of the grands have seen snow. This home would be perfect for a snow getaway! That’s means a lot of passports lol. I came across LHM about 7 years ago and thought right away, it's the most beautiful, cozy design I have ever seen. To this day I feel the same, and i saw hours and hours of design videos on youtube, from 250 million usd apartments in Manhattan to Italian villas, French chateaus etc. It's like the owner of the house said, walked in, and took 3 minutes to say yes. It is just stunning. To my biggest surprise, just found out, it's the fellow Lithuanians who created this beauty.

I'm American, a skier my whole life, partly of Norwegian descent. I had the pleasure when young of spending part of the summer of 1975 visiting relatives in Norway, and have long wanted to return. If I could make a cabin like this my home, I might just move there. My father was skiing at the top of Alta Utah at age 91. I hope to be so fortunate and healthy. What a treat to do that there, living in that cabin. Very nice! And I could catch up with distant relatives again too, maybe have them over for some skiing during the day, or hiking in the summer, and hot tubbing under the stars at night. 🙂

It is actually possible in some places in Norway. I live in one of the few municipalities in Norway where it is possible to do this due to regulations. The municipality is called: Nore og Uvdal The rules here for living more than 1/3 of the year are stricter requirements for insulation and drainage. The price for such a cabin usually starts from 400,000 dollars

As a norwegian, almost everyone I know, including myself has a microwave. I'm not sure where you got the information that we don't have microwaves from. However, beautiful cabin and great tour.

We are so snow deprived here where I live haven't had any in about 5 years. Can't ski but being there I would certainly try it. Tom loved your snowbelly flop!!! Looked like sooo much fun. The cabin is well appointed and designed. Loved the little nook for the kiddies or the big kiddies.. It feels so cozy and inviting there. I see you met with the developers. i am in northern usa , great lakes area and i find this house very cozy and beautiful. something i would be happy to live in and i don't mind the lower ceilings at all.., it seems for me to be the perfect size, i would however add a garage. who really needs to live in one of those hotel sized monstrosities with 30 ft ceilings..i find those cold and unwelcoming even if they have the log cabin style

I absolutely love this cabin/home. I’m a little bewildered with regulations in Norway that are so restrictive? I understand safety regulations in construction but not limiting your dream home and not sure why it would be acceptable to Norwegian Citizens? The ceiling heights in particular seem confining if not a bit claustrophobic, but loved the rest of what we could see? Thank you for sharing!
