Hay! I am crying again....i have never imagine that this lady, gina lopez, could touch my heart in a very deep deep way...her voice and her messages to us all keep ringing in my ears to this day...i have never met her but after visiting the blaan wellness and tribal village in polomolok less than a week before she died, i told a friend who was with me, that someday, we would go back to that place and will have a chat with her while sipping civet coffee...now that wont happen anymore 😭 I pray that in my small ways, i would be able to do my part in fulfilling her dream for our country. Thank you, GL!

Besides Mother Teresa, she is one person I knew who have touched and made a difference to so many peoples lives. She was also an inspiration as one great environmentalist who have done so many changes to the Pasig River, the Watershed and other passages and rivers that needs to be rehabilitated. and brought job to so many less fortunate people help them to earn their living n a very decent ways...In parting Ms Gina had led a very full and active life to bring love and hope to so many downtrodden people esp those abused by the powerful people and by nature. I sincerely hope she is very happy now in Heaven with our Almighty God.

Thank you so much Hanz for ceating and sharing this video to honor Ma'am Gina,and for sharing your unforgettable beautiful experiences and learnings from her.What an amazing soul she is,and I am so thankful to God that He created one such humble person born from one of the wealthiest family of the Lopez.She has so much love and passion that her whole being cannot deny and it has to be spread and shared to all the people around her and to the entire humanity.I have not known her so much until she became DENR secretary,and then it all sprouted in me all that she did way decades ago,all the charities and organizations and all these things she did tirelessly for our country men and inspiring them to build themselves and grow and believe they can do more and to dream big and to not feel small,rather big as their dreams can go farther.She is like the lady version of President Duterte for me.She has the biggest heart to help and a passion to pursue each program that shethinks can elevate people's way of living and be out of poverty,and she does it with love and people truly feels that in her.She cares so much like a mother to all,esp the poor people. She never stops loving and caring and spreading the awesome works people do when they help each other. She made it sure that every project has a good start and that will continue on. I felt sad that she ,of all people has to go,but her works and legacy will continue on.How I wish I could have met her and hold her hand for few moments and thank her for all that she has done and all of which her family has contributed in all her missions and all her works done in DENR,Bantay Bata,charities etc....She is by far the most respected and loved by the filipino people ,esp by me. I pray that there'll be more genuine heart like Gina Lopez has in this country,God will send us many Gina's in our country and more Duterte's.God bless her families and may they be comforted with love and compassion. May she rest in peace. If she has Jesus in her heart ,no doubt,,she will surely be in heaven now. I truly love and admired her.

I haven't check the content of your vlog yet. But I hope to see a vlogger who will show the beautiful places and people of our country not just the tourist spot but the potential of those places and the genuine love to environment of people in those places. Because i was inspired by GL in her GDiaries I was the one so happy upon learning that GL will be the DENR secretary. And one of the most disppointed and angry when she was rejected by the CA. She was the great factor, the one who motivated our people in my hometown in Batangas to fight for mining activities and help our people to find ways on how to sustain our daily needs by promoting tourism and earn a living from it. . I don't know if there is anybody who can do the same thing that GL did with genuine love for people and for our country. I really hope.

You were blessed to work and know an extraordinary person. A person who has a lot of love to give, regardless of who you are and where your from. I know she is now happy united with God and I believe that her death marks a new beginning. By the way, Florentino is my maiden name. Our roots comes from isla de camotes, a beautiful island too. We were there if I am not mistaken january of 1982, and I met the younger sister of my grandfather nanay Felisa and some relativez......maybe we are related too. May you continue the advocacy of maam Gina and continue to speak fro the heart.....
