I also love that they added the ability to get High Quility Oil and Pal Fluids by throwing Dumud's and Kelpsea's into your ranch. The only thing I hope they do is give use the ability to create more bases at least one to two more would be fine by me.

3 bases is fine. But they need to change the base count for guilds. Individuals should still retain their 3 personal bases and ownership over them. But there should just be a dedicated “guild” base that everyone can share. And players in the guild should be able to toggle whether they share their personal bases with the guild to use and travel to etc

I only play this game in a single player world as none of my friends play and I don't like getting on servers full of people i don't know. I would be fine with a world/server setting that lets you set max bases per player or something along those lines. It would allow official servers to stay at 3 but let single player or private worlds the option for more.

Fair warning - The Ring of Mercy doesn't work on Pals you have out via items. Which is to say, pals like Daedream and the small genie-looking purple one. If those 2 are in your party and you have the items for each that allows them to travel alongside you at all times without being called, they WILL still attack and kill anything you target even if you have the ring on.

They should definitely let us get at least a couple more bases or at just create our own capital settlement to let human NPCs to live with us and work for us. And we could finally do quests for other NPCs, and maybe upgrade other human settlement areas for reputation gain. 😊😊😊😊😊

Holy moly thats a great QoL update 👍🏻 especially the monitoring stand! As i played for the first time and unlovked it i was really disappointed that it only was for the workshift of the pals. But this now is exactly what i hoped it is 👍🏻 Everything else is great too! Thanks for the info Z.. wouldnt have seen this without your video 👍🏻

Now to add buildings that give stable supply of fiber, pal fragments, sulfur, coal and quartz. At least for the current in game resources that need to be collected regularly.

I mean then youd have no reason to go out in the world . What they need to make sure they dont do. Is make it so people have no reason to leave their base. Catching pals shoulnt be the only reason to leave the base. So i think them finding a balance is very important.

Pal fragments can be converted with the grinder now, pal fluid can be ranched. Sulfur, coal and quart isn't that big of a deal tbh.

playing 1.5 until mod updates come =( stat points are capped at 50 now per category, So my whole gameplay loop of beating alphas to gain +1 atk +1 weight won't work in 2.0 -_-. It's a fun loop as it offers unlimited progression and a power fantasy. People playing past lv50 with the lv79 mod also lose stat points spent past 50 as the game makes it so only the first 50 count. Also base range 2x, low cost condenser, and movement speed are all broken now =(

Honestly the worst update Literally going to kill the game, base locations don't matter if ore locations don't matter, They made pal fluid and oil ranchable making it so you don't have to leave your bases to collect any resources anymore completely killing the gameplay loop, Given the opportunities, players will optimize the fun right out of the game

Oil has been purchasable since day 1 (farming coins = farming oil) and reception on that has always really positive. Contrary to that, having to farm Fluids got old really fast. If you feel differently, I get you, but this is the overwhelming perception community has, well, communicated to the devs.

"core gameplay loop" meaning repeatedly killing dumuds and digtoises for hours on end is your idea of fun? Having freedom to build in a lot more locations is amazing, I never thought I'd see someone complain about it 😂

Just to explain what you might have missed: Going out and collecting known resources to use them at the base isn't the gameplay loop. It doesn't loop. Going out to find new resources to make collecting other resources easier, so that you can then go out further with new gear and repeat this cycle, this is a gameplay loop and this is Palworls gameplay loop. You can go out and chop trees and mine stones yourself, if that's what's fun for you, but you will find very few people who would share your opinion, that this is how the game is intended to be played. The intention is to use stronger gear, new materials, higher levels and stronger pals, to automate farming and crafting, while you only have to worry about the fun stuff like looking for a new flying mount or exploring a new biome.
