Actually not that simple. I have this with the USB C connector. The part of the cable that connects to the actual card holder is proprietary so you just can't swap a longer cable. You basically have to couple it to a longer cable...not swap.

I got one but my Win11 will not recognize it, either a CF or an SD card.

Oh no! I only tried Windows 7 and 10 with this device.
