Famagusta is a Latin-origin name given to the city during crusades which has stuck in use in most (or possibly every) language as an exonym, including in English. In Greek the city is still called Ammochostos which is its older endonym.

Nice video but as a local cypriot living in north i need to correct you on the fact that famagusta is not the ghost city you were looking for. The city is called Varosha/ Marash. It is in the suburbs of Famagusta now. Also you went to the worst places in each city in the North.

Fyi - kind advice to use more sensitive language on Cyprus, eg instead of Greek and Turkish Part use the northern and southern part of Cyprus or Nicosia. Words matter and colonial language is still in use when referring to the conflict and the sides in Cyprus.
