This is a quick review of the 90 Degree GrooVee Jenny V-Bit. It is the first of its kind, meant to press down on masking material as it cuts. This makes for sharper lines when painting after carving.

I don't have experience with the Shapeoko CNC machine or the Xcarve CNC, but I do know that the Onefinity CNC machine is awesome!

Nice video Hamilton. I've got a 60° Groovee Jenny on the way. I might do a Live demonstration on my Saturday night show to see how it performs. Well done buddy. 👍🏻

You should seal the wood BEFORE carving and then the carved areas prior to painting...you'll get much better results on all your letters.

A little light heat from a heat gun will make that Ora mask come off a lot easier

Great review. The new 60' bit should do a better job with small text (it will cut deeper). I rarely use 90 for anything with tight/small cuts. I also already ordered a 60° Groovee Jenny.

Just found your video, I need to cut a 90 degree chamfer to a depth of about two inches( the depth of my work piece} in a circular pattern. Can a tool path be set to make a smooth chamfer with the bit in your video?

02:56 Why did you paint the whole foil area where there weren't even any letters or patterns?

it's not a downcut ) it's just better ground than regular woodworking bits. actually it is regular chamfer end mill used in metal milling for years. (most of woodworking "awesome innovations" are plain old metal cutting tools) and why you use this masking film? wasn't it be easier to spray some varnish than mill your relief, paint it, and after that just skim 0.5mm of the board. it will be faster than manually removing that film.

1:08 "I don't know what that does, I don't *CARE* what that does" - Now, THERE is a guy who will NEVER be accused of being an innovator. Strictly a buy it and try it catalog jockey kind of guy.
