Interesting watching the comments. We make our own modular roof rack and it costs way over £1000 for the basic parts, £200 for powder coating, VW rails to fit a new crafter £600, then over a day to assemble....I was looking at the Mule one thinking it looks good value🤣🤣🤣. Plus looks good. Anyway, that wasn't my reason for the coment...Neil...I thought the intro was bloody great.(just been listening to the full track)..sorry I may have to nick that idea and the music for a video one day. Love your content...keep up the good work. Ed

Pricing is just insane for a “roof rack” it’s just a skirt around; yes the light integration is nice for some but it’s just ridiculously expensive for what it is. Unistrut rack, sub a few hundred quid job done

so am I correct thinking that basically what mule does is make the metal sides for the unistrut setup? it's a smart idea for them to not try to reinvent the wheel. this gives me a few ideas for eventual upgrades for my trailer. looks dang good up there. It does look great and I’m sure it’s very well put together BUT… it’s ridiculously priced. Im a big fan of this channel and I much prefer seeing Neil/Emma improvise and do things their own way with the smaller budget. I think that’s what makes your channel so appealing but it seems that most of these channels become dominated by getting freebies for ADs as they grow. In other words, I much prefer watching Neil and Emma do their own thing and continue to entertain while showing us amateurs how to make things work!

As a channel grows more company’s support the channel which allows creators to make more content and do more things with the channel . Take for instance the full set of BFG tyres we are giving away on Sunday on the life stream . As a larger channel we pull in partners that can give back to the comunity . There is 2 kinds of KZbin channels 1 the hobby channel and 2 the Buisness channel . We aim and have allwsys aimed this to be our main Buisness but £500 a month of KZbin adds kind of don’t pay the bills so channel have to get sponsors and do things like sponsored adds . While KZbin is FREE TO WATCH it is sure not free to create . I mean building a van . And the gear we have bought and use for creating videos in the past 2 years has probable come close to 30/40k and we ain’t made of money so some thing has to give . But most of our audience watch us for us and it really dose not matter to most of our subscribers but I guess we can’t please every one which is ok cos you can’t please every one . As for the price of the rack . If you where to buy the raw material and make it your self with laser cutting . Machine folding and powder coating I think you would end up costing more . It looks fantastic and well engineered. From the prices on their website it also seems very reasonable given the quality of materials and build. I've seen others make roof racks from 8020 but that's expensive stuff so all in all most folk would be better off going to Mule. Nice video too, Neil.

I really really really want this on my roof but I have a problem :( when I fitted the same unistrut as you have bud I fitted mine with locking nuts from the inside not how you did yours. Would that be a problem for the guys to take off for this beautiful roof rack? I really don’t want to pull the ceiling down again :( this is fantastic ♥️
