I was also curious if people would figure it out after realizing you could do this. It is also very satisfying going into a lower ground to use skeletons and have survivors crouch and fail to dodge them. A couple I've gone basement mid chase just to cast skeletons through the wall and lower so thery are undodgable. Works pretty well in a few maps like yamaoka (the high ground platforms), dead dog saloon or really anywhere with stairs and you are following a survivor.

A buddy of mine tested the skeletons, they are completely reactable based on audio, even if you are in "instant" range. Where they are really awesome is on pallets. If I'm running bamboozle I can cycle between skeletons and mage hand to get guaranteed hit after guaranteed hit (you can hit people with skeletons easily while they are locked in the drop animation). Examples: 5:53 she was able to react to the audio and had time to duck safely even if it wasn't predicted. 6:28 she was hit because she was locked in the drop animation.

Ever since 6.4.0, Legion's Feral Vault has not worked with any vault-speed increasing perks. Neither does Wesker's bound vault, nor Chucky's scamper. So no the perk doesn't buff their power. perks that increase vault speeds only affects vault that are not done by a power, but is done by walking up to a vault. And using the specific ''Vault'' action. Similar to how Call of Brine isn't activated by things like Pain Res and Surge. It must be the ''Damage generator'' Action, and not just damaging a generator.

So if you cast the spell at the right distance the skeletons will spawn directly on top of the survivor and damage them without any chance for them to dodge it

Insta and Elevation tech make Vecna demand constant respect from survivors who don't know what's on cooldown. On maps with higher floors if you hear layer 2 of the TR you need to move away until it quiets down or until you have intel on where he is and insta tech will demand that you learn the distance and crouch when you hear him pull his hands up.

The main thing to keep in mind with weave attunement is that its really good on Vecna specifically because Vecna's mechanics really want survivors to take items from chests- franklins doesn't drop the worn items, but because survivors are looking through chests for those items, they get other ones all the time. On other killers, weave attunement is fairly easy to counter. Just dont take items from chests, and fully use up whatever you bring with you. Languid touch is meh, it doesn't last very long and goes on a long cooldown. 33% uptime and it only matters if the survivor it happens to hit needs an exhaustion perk in that brief window. Though I imagine it pairs well with fearmonger if survivors are playing stupid footsie games with a gen you're guarding.

Imo, Weave Attunement absolutely does not need a nerf. It's only solid with a whole additional perk and only works on M1 killers *and* is fully counterable and detectable because of the Oblivious on item pickup. Its really strong to wait for a survivor to drop the pallet before you use the hand. If their are fast enough they coupd stun you but most of the time you will just get a free hit ( you should be close to the pallet when doing that)

It's odd how so many of Vecna's things are written as "permanent" increase. His perks and the garbage vault perk all include "permanent" in the descriptions but no other killer's things have that AFAIK. For example: Bamboozle simply states "increases vault speed", Fire up states "each stack applies a buff" rather than "applies a permanent buff". It's not a big deal but it bugs me

I’ve been playing since 2019, probably 80% survivor and 20% killer in that time. Solo queue is pure garbage tier experience nowadays and I’m very close to uninstalling the game and never looking back. Far too many situations where your skill as survivor really doesn’t matter. My escape rate is abysmal and for someone with 1000s of hours, I expect to, at the VERY least have a 40% escape rate but that just isn’t the case.

I kinda wish Weave Attunement would spawn like a Red Glyph upon hitting a unique survivor that gives the killer aura reading in its radius. Then survivors can close that Glyph. It feels weird that it's *dropped items* that give aura reading in an arbitrary radius?? There at least needs to be some clearer visual VFX for the survivor to know they're being seen (right now it shows a tooltip onscreen for the survivor, but it doesn't give the appropriate urgency for what's going on.

I've been doing most of this in my matches as Vecna. Had him p9 quite quickly but I thought things like your flight of the damned tech would be common knowledge to anyone that has played at least 3 matches as him. I've been using Batteries Included in place of rapid brutality though. Rapid only activated on M1s, and whilst it synergises with fly quite abit, I tend to get more use out of batteries included for the same thing whilst keeping the haste longer, especially on 2 floor maps or gen dense maps.

I really don't think weave attunement needs a nerf, especially considering the counter to it is to simply not bring items, pick your item back up before it depletes completely, and or distortion. It already has plenty of counter play and good players will figure out more very quickly. But when it does work it's a strong perk which is what you want a perk to be. Plus you need two perk slots which aren't slowdown + actually hitting a survivor or having them completely deplete their items anyways for it to even activate. It's perfect.

I feel like darkness revealed is overlooked by literally everyone. I CONSTANTLY throw it out over gens or across map as soon as it’s off cool down. Sure the orb moves slow, but it’s a huge disruption that you can spam. If people don’t move, they’re revealed and run away because they know they’re revealed. My only problem with the new anti exhaustion is it feels like it counters every exhaustion perk except for arguably the most problematic one. Which is Sprint Burst, which is typically used at the very start of the chase. Sure it will likely stop multi Sprint Burst chases but if it becomes more popular, then Sprint Burst will as well.

Honestly seems a lot of Vecna players use the skelly spawn specifically to hit through pallet-side shack and some of it's other walls instantly, but not really anywhere else like you showcased (yet).
