I love the diverse range of topics you choose. And I’m glad that you made this video. I don’t feel like you need to justify your choices, but talking through it for your own sake was a great idea.

I do come here for "leftist" content. But I (and appearantly others) come here for your voice. Nobody is pure gender or ideology. And I enjoy hearing your takes. I guess I just like hearing you flex your analytical muscles.

That was awesome! Self care is not anticapitalist practice but it is a necessary foundation for it imo. And it's good to hear someone making the distinction between self care and self indulgence: now that is anticapitalism. Not to put a puritanical framing on it though: self care often comes from a place of self acceptance and love moreso than numbing the pain does in my experience.

I think it's great if you keep making videos YOU want to make - it really keeps videos more genuine! :) and I think that matters, people's own interests and passions come through when they speak about things they like, and I find it wonderful.

I am glad you share your self care here with us. I always come away feeling a bit better from your videos then before I watched one, so I guess they are also self care for me and others in a way

I only found your channel yesterday (through watching that old thoughtslime video) and I've just been binge watching your videos. I like hearing your takes on a variety of things, though your 'chavs' video was probably my favourite. I've moved to the UK recently and hadn't really heard the word chav and I don't know that much about UK-specific classism (despite working in a field where that knowledge is very useful to have), so it taught me a lot. It looks like you haven't made videos in a while and I don't know if you want to get back to it at all, but I hope this comment made you smile :)

I just like your takes on whatever it is you want to talk about! It's great when you talk about gender because it's nice to see someone who presents a bit like me talk about something I'm still self-conscious about, but I also loved your mobile ad and wrestling videos recently, and your enthusiasm for those topics is what made them compelling.

I've been having a lot of similar frustrations with my school experience right now. I always thought the whole point of KZbin was to be able to do things your own way and in a more flexible way to escape that. I am really sad to see it how it is. That being said I commend you for taking care of yourself.

And the experiences I'm talking about the guilt over not being productive but still feeling like I need to be productive but not feeling good enough to be productive. And it just feeds into its self
@Queerbuccaneer3 жыл бұрын
That's the point of KZbin, in theory. But if you want to be able to actually do KZbin full time, and that's really the only way to be able to dedicate the time to it, you have to live and die by the algorithm

Thanks, Eden. 💖 I've never figured out how to relax... capitalist propaganda has made me a real workaholic and even though I know I get work done on a daily basis, I really relate to that meme going around "depressed because unproductive -> unproductive because depressed -> repeat".

That's trash that Patreon and KZbin pressures you, that's horrible. I always like other content besides the great analysis do. Plus there are times when I need breaks from watching those type of topics from time to time. I would love to hear more about wrestling or a how to get into/where to start with wrestling. Gotten into it because I hear so many comparisons of it with anime and watching GLOW

Well, I would recommend just watching the next episode of AEW Dynamite! There'll be bits that require some context, but the commentary desk is good for filling in the gaps, and they do backstory VT packages if they deem it necessary. If you're in the US, they air it on TNT, then they show it on ITV4 here in the UK, so I assume it's on both of their respective catch-up apps. If you're outside of those two countries, your only option might be the FITE app, which you can definitely get a free trial of!
