exactly. When you're at the point in a run where you're able to beat an entire phase of false son with just your lunar spikes, no shit antler shield is going to do damage.

No no it is the worst. That uh. Wasn’t antler shield. Antler shield you have 2? Or 12? Hard to read with those lack of pixels ya got. That’s 100-1200 damage. That’s a PATHETIC AMOUNT Like genuinely. In that phase the false son has nearly 700k You’d have to proc the antlers roughly 620 times to kill him. That wasn’t the antler shield. What you got is something called a proc chain. The second his laser hit you something proced your bands. Which would give him the hammer debuff and the scoripon debuff while also setting him on fire and frosting him. This also added death mark (and probably poison from the thorns) Making him take astronomical damage. Antlers probably did a max of 10k a MAX.

to be fair you had like a million hp, and all that damage it did was because the huge amount of damage the beam did to you to be able the proc the antler shield to do so much damage

@@6karnex9 in my opinion, the dlc is great. I know the items absolutely suck, (minus sale star) but the maps are awesome and the characters are cool.

Items are cool, characters are nice too ig, although seeker has no damage and false son is just a stolen paladin. Maps and music are cool as well. However the amount of questionable decisions regarding the game at large overshadows everything

You can make use of warped echo in a self damage build which doesn't require you to have 20k hp. The only reason antlers were good in this situation was because you had the health to tank enough dmg for them to reflect. Normally you'd have 2k or so at this point , which wouldn't be useful for antlers. At least warped echo gives you more time to start regening the hp you're losing from the tincture or any other source of dmg. Esentially giving you a windows of "fight for your life". 50% for 10% dmg reflect. Yeah. I'd rather the dmg i take be delayed from warped echo.

or half as useful. one teddy bear and one warped echo, you just went from a 10% chance to block all incoming damage from a single attack, to a 1% chance to block damage from a single hit

@@Cheetotamer medkits are ok, but nobody uses them anyways, specially if you playing e8, also teddy bears is the worst example, bc it would block the first impact, but maybe not the second one, so its pretty bad imo, AND cautious slug takes twice the time to start healing

..Okay, so in a normal run going for Eclipse wins, simply loop, somehow gain 20 fucking thousand hp, LOSE WATCHES BECAUSE OF HOW MUCH DAMAGE YOU'RE TAKING, also somehow get 12 ARPs, 5 APs, FUCKING FOUR LASER SCOPES, Shattering Justice AND Symbiotic Scorpion, FOURTEEN Sale Stars, TWO PLANULAS, And SEVEN BULWARKS, then the antlers are good. Buddy in a realistic run for most people you have like 20% of the total items. MAYBE one or two reds. With the item pool being as diluted as it is now, no more than like one stack of 10+ white items, and that's with a printer. This build is so goddamn unrealistic in actual legitimate runs, you proved nothing. That's like if someone tried to argue that Knockback Fin is any good- Yeah. It is. If you have four 57 Leaf Clovers, and 40 Knockback Fins so they die in the skybox.

They have 7 stone flux pauldrons which double your health at the cost of speed. It scales by multiplying itself similar to shaped glass so it can give pretty insane health numbers in good amounts. (mind you the item isn't good, just look at how many movement items they have and the speed they are going).
