I speak before my City Council, write to Senators, join most protests, including in DC, and it feels more and more like useless parades. They expected all of it and knew the world would do nothing more than protest and “act civilized” which means sitting on our bums and complaining online. I also feel that either all countries be permanent members of the security council, or there should be no separate security council, or no veto at all for anyone, or majority votes should be acted upon unless votes are unaminous. It is surely wrong that two countries - the U.K. and U.S.A. are permanent members and use the power of the veto all the time, to get whatever they want.
