Megan, I got a legendary pet every time when the last need was Thirsty! Idk of its a hack or anything but its a higher chance of lenegendary:) Not Guaranteed but its a Higher chance! (It works with Royale Egg the most for me, remember the last need has to be thirsty this may not work but on your 2 nd or 3rd egg it might!:D

Update: Yesterday I hatched a Unicorn out of Cracked Egg. In my opinion, doing last two tasks in school increases the chance to hatch a Legendary pet. Let me know if that helps. :)
