What do you have against furries? There's no reason to hate all furries because a small number of them cause trouble
@ethanstinkus7 ай бұрын
I feel like the sole idea that I was being friendly to everyone in the game was enough to bring on the idea that I do not indeed hate furries, but I guess I must clarify it. I don't? I believe that I made it clear I don't. The start of the video features a disclaimer that STRICTLY forbids any form of hate and/or harassment towards them. The only reason why I specifically mentioned them, was that I predicted and knew there were going to be people who would actually be sending hate - hence half the jokes mocking those kinds of people, in hopes to get them to just simply not comment any negatively constructed comments. I believe the jokes were not harmful in the slightest, however please do correct me if I am wrong. It'd be nice to see exactly what you saw in the video that gave you this impression
@melee-built_centipede7 ай бұрын
@@ethanstinkus The one disclaimer at the start of the video got me confused thinking you deleted comments that furries sent; I think that's also what made them think that. Not telling you to change anything, sorry if it seems like that. Just telling you what maybe influenced that thinking.

Yo! Amazing video and I'm glad to see you had a good time with resonite, despite its quirks. I both agree and disagree with what you said about it not being user friendly, as if youre just looking for a social vr game with a few more features (such as an inventory of assets) it's fairly easy to get into - heck I have friends who have never been on the development side of resonite and play exclusively for the joke assets and messing around and they love it. Another thing is that it really changes your perspective on social vr games. I came from vrchat (which says everything) and i couldn't go back to it because it felt too limiting. Resonite is truly something unique and I hope to see you around the platform again.
@ethanstinkus9 ай бұрын
Honestly yeah, I've kind of realised alot of what I said regarding the whole user experience may be a little bit harsh. I was speaking mostly from personal experience, I personally found it hard to understand how many things worked - for example, it took me awhile to understand that world instances stayed open until you closed them, and that you could switch between them - kind of like web browser tabs. However, with help from the community, it is pretty easy to pick up in the end. It took me about 2 days to (almost) fully understand how the more casual Resonite experience worked. And thank you so much for the lovely comment, they're the sole reason why I keep doing what I do

Just my two cents, the "By Law" statement at the beginning doesn't mean anything since each country has their own laws. Recording in public without consent isn't always legal. That being said this is the Internet and a social platform, so it's an all gray area. I would mostly look at the platforms guidelines and TOS to see what's okay or not. If you can't find anything there, then you could always record your videos and ask for consent afterwards, so if someone says no, you can delete the footage right away. Point is, always ask for consent even if you don't have to. That is the most proper way to go about it.
@ethanstinkus7 ай бұрын
I meant mostly from my own state with the "by law" statement, however I do see what you mean. The only people who really did not have "consent" was in the background shots and did not feature a very important role in the video, otherwise permission was granted from everyone involved. This being; Jack, Redd, my close friend King obviously, Lydia, Ross, and I believe Bawoon however they were still not a very major character in the video. Resonite has a feature to display whether you are infact live or not through a badge above my name. I'm aware this doesnt immediately make it 100% a okay for some ppl, but the point of that is to allow ppl to come up to me and ask the footage to disclude them in order to prevent as many issues while documenting as possible, and help keep a safe and enjoyable video. I initially wanted the disclaimer there to give people the choice to comment and get their appearance removed, but I see how it can be silly now. I appreciate this comment
