Hello, developer here. Our multiplayer at the moment is condensed to in room hangouts. You can meet your friends or other people to talk about the game or show off your collectibles. Good news, we are working now to expand the multiplayer to allow for coop free play and a pvp mode. We also just released a smooth movement update as well so now players can walk seamlessly through cities without having to teleport.

No. There is smooth locomotion, use the left joystick to do smooth movement. And use the A button to teleport.
