Thank you again! It's funny how I study your guides and when I do it it'll be full mayhem 😄 But usually it goes well because I know beforehand what is coming. It just involves much more running around and hiding somewhere else. It's good that bandits doesn't shoot at the same second they see you, it gives you more time to hide. But this guide is 100% good job 👍🏼

Now I know that this combat guide is supposed to be used if you only have melee weapons, but I found that the easiest way to deal with the church bandits is to bring a shotgun. Then you just kill the first bandit with two shots to the back, and the others will start climbing up the ladder, or stay just beneath the ladder and it is easy to pop them off. And it would be easy to find a shotgun given all the strategies outlined in other combat guides. BTW, great work on This War of Mine gameplay, my life has really gotten a lot easier since I started following your guides.

Thanks. I only really stick to melee as its often the only thing available. For sure, some locations, guns and a ladder can be a lethal combo (and much quicker).

i used to use this stealthy approach on every raid, but lately i just use shotgun and shoot them while they are using the ladder. 1 or 2 shots at point blank range usually will kill these baddies

What happens if you only kill some of the bandits in a place, leave and then come back.

As far as I remember the ones you don't kill are still there when you go back, but I've rarely left the church without clearing it so not entirely sure.

Anton finished the work that Roman and Emilia couldn't do. He single handedly killed 5 militants. LOL If you play this game a couple of times, you will know the mechanics. No, he didn't use the underground tunnel. He went into the building from the front door.

Hi, nice vid, thanks for tips!!! Question: how did you restarted raid? ALT+D4 then load game from the start of the day?

I just quit out before the night ends, then restarted, and it goes back to the start of the morning - as I'm only replaying the night action and then quitting out, no need to bother with any daytime activities other than putting the character I'm using to bed (unless have to make a weapon or something), then can 'end day' and get back to another go at the raid.

heyy sorry im late but , if the church is friendly how can we loot the goods on bottom floor ? also are we should attack when get attacked first ?

If its the one with the priest, you can't access the left hand side of the bottom part without them becoming hostile. You can visit the other side - there is a guy there but he isn't hostile. However, there can be a bug where a woman comes from the part underneath where the priest is, sees you, and becomes hostile even if you are in the other half where you are supposedly allowed to go.

@@lloydb5571 If you go to the disallowed area under the church they will attack on sight - if you decide to go there then you can attack first, either way it ends up as combat. Its not something I've tried and not sure how many under the church would have to be dealt with. I tend to avoid the Priest version of the church because of the bug where they attack you even if you are in the allowed area.

I just killed the bandits using my Police Officer and my group is horrified she murdered someone? I thought killing the bandits was a good thing?

The game can be quite inconsistent with when killing is 'allowed' and when its not. One would think that killing anyone who would otherwise kill you on sight would be at least neutral from a morale perspective. I seem to remember this was an ongoing problem with the hotel bandits, but not sure if the devs made adjustments or not.
