Dude, go play SeaTac or Lakewood, you'll have a great time! Kayak and Tall Firs are up north is you can make the drive. And a personal favorite is South Fork Landing, out in North Bend - usually wet in the winter, but a dry day makes the trip worth it! Great vid, really makes me miss playing out there.

South fork landingis an absolutely beautiful course. Kayak is easily the best though with multiple layouts pay 2 play also a free putting course and free driving range by the parking lot

Western Washington area has a ton of great courses, the problem is that none really fit in Seattle so they're all spread either north or south of Seattle, so hitting the full Seattle bucket list is like a week-long event. Glad you got to check a couple out, but 100% your best bet next time you're in the area is either to stick on the south side for Lakewood, SeaTac and Auburn Riverside, or go north and hit Kayak, Tall Firs and NSRA (that's a ton of driving tho)

Great job but you skipped #16, throwing into #7 instead of the "closet basket" hidden inside all those bushes and trees well to the right of #7. It's a wickedly difficult forehand flex shot with the most overstable driver you have to get left around the mando and back to the closet. You also skipped #17, another flex line in the trees between #1 (short basket) and #8, the long right sweeper. The birdie play on #13 is usually to crash the bushes on the right, going directly at the basket instead of trying to right hook through the tiny gap. Even if you get the hook, you'll likely go long or way left. You've got a good game and excellent commentary patter! I've subscribed.

Looks like really good use of nets in that small space. That is a type of course design that I'm not sure I would do well (not that I could design any course well).

It is allowed to sit on obstacles as long as they are behind your lie and inbounds 😉: QA-STA-2: Can I hold onto a branch or other object behind my lie while putting? Holding on to something behind your lie for support is not prohibited by the rules, provided that the object is in-bounds. It also must not be moved, since you are required to take the stance that results in the least possible movement of obstacles on the course. You are not allowed to hold onto another person for support, as that person is not part of the course.

What up with all those poles on the course? What are their purpose?
@NateTurner Жыл бұрын
I think they’re for nets to stop discs from hitting people on tee pads and/or going out into traffic/parked cars. I’m assuming over time some of the nets have fallen down
@bretbowman2007 Жыл бұрын
The main point of the park is the trees living in it; those poles are to protect them from high speed disc choppers. They're often in stereo just off the end of a tee. Quite musical, really. They have a great glorious "clang" sound on driver impact.
