Taeyang is the main vocalist from the group Big Bang. They are a group from the 2nd gen kpop and BTS members have always expressed their admiration to the group since their debut. Jimin, specifically, has mentioned that Taeyang was his idol and the reason why he wanted to be a singer in the first place. As an ARMY who first got to know kpop through Big Bang, and knowing Jimin's history with Taeyang, this collab made me feel so happy and excited. I can't even begin to imagine how happy Jimin would've been to have his idol asking him to work together. ps. more about Taeyang. Big Bang members had just made their comeback last year after their long hiatus (because of their military enlistment, some issues happening while they were gone, and they took some time to have a break and spend some personal time, eg. this is literally a legendary collab!!!!!!!!! you may not know how important this collaboration is, as you are not familiar with BigBang, but this is literally two idols from the biggest 2nd and 3rd gen groups collaborating! never in my wildest dreams did i think that this was possible. Taeyang was a huge idol for Jimin (before debut) so to have him be in a song with such a huge inspiration to him is awesome! These two men are LEGENDS!
