It's bad end because Ame couldn't save anyone, just like all the Ame's before her, all she can do is create a new time line, but it doesn't stop all her friends and Ame herself from dying in their own timeline. The reason Ame still creates a new timeline, even though her friends in the original timeline will still be dead, is because it means there is at least a chance that to create an alternate reality where some version of them doesn't die.

I did wonder if maybe the reason why the Ancient One's, who represent the Void (usually the enemy of space/reality, in most settings), were able to become more powerful and fully dominate Ina was because Sana (the Warden of Space) was missing in action. Alternatively, it could be that Sana is out of commission *because* the Ancient One's became more powerful and she either had to fight them, or is currently fighting them.

For reference, the "good Ina" was just Ina's consciousness fighting the possession. That's why "evil Ina" was fighting with her own arm. And you can see Ina lose her powers when the evil goop or whatever rips off her, since she doesn't have her halo, wings, tentacle hair, yada yada. Also, a neat detail, the timeline was reversing with the burning film strip.

Ina doesn't have her own powers. When she picked up the book that was posessed by the Ancient Ones(AO chan) she became a priestess of the Ancient Ones. It's AO chan completely posessing ina, thats why they say "She lost control". When AO chan abandons ina you can see that he hair turns back to human hair and her flaps disappear too, when she gets hit by that laser she is a normal powerless human.

As I watched Ina's debut (which felt like half a lifetime ago) I couldn't help but chuckle a bit, as the book she found that transmogrify her was not some unique ancient manuscript, but a current mass-produced printed book as indicated by the paper "obi" strap around the cover. Yeah, Mazu paid a lot of attention to the lore and kayfabe. e.g., when Ina regains her human form, she is missing her earflaps, tentacle hair, and angel wings. This reflects her backstory that she was just a normal human before coming into contact with AO-chan, and strongly implies that it is AO-chan who took over her and is threatening the world.

I'm gonna be clearing up some stuff cuz why not First, I think you're a little confused about the whole Ina situation, the evil one isnt Ina but is the Ancient One which gave Ina her powers which is why Ina became human again after the Ancient One separated themself from her body. The video playing actually shows the timestamp of the entire universe which is why it's such a big number, Ame sacrifices hers like all the previous ones which is why it starts back at 0:00. The timeline we are living in right now is the good ending confirmed by the creator When the universe was resetting you could actually see Irys descending which is a neat detail. I'm not exactly sure if there'll ever be a continuation of this story but if there is then I'm 100% hyped about what could possibly be next

It can have a 2nd part where council is the catalyst in changing that timeline, we got everyones easter egg here, like kronii finally dealing with ame after such repeated resets messing with time. Fauna and Sana had to bring the world and universe back in one piece and mumei had to live and die too whenever civilization reset and prosper, same with bae where theres life theres conflict or chaos. They had to step in somehow after such resets, im excited if it came to be 🥰

That KZbin video is basically our universe. There's no way to stop what happened once it starts, so all Ame(and all the prior Ames) could do to have even the smallest chance to change things is restart everything. And eventually, at least as some people think, our universe was created. We're the good end. (and Ina looks like that because she is a normal human. Her flaps and halo are from her pact with the Ancient Ones, so she wouldn't have them in her true form)

a lot of the music in this was remixes of the girls original songs. for example, the music playing when guras turn started was a remix of her original song "reflect" my theory is that the previous ames only tried to rewind to before ina lost control but the ame in this video rewound to the beginning of the universe.

Not only that they reused Ame's BG theme for the music, they also included Kiara's Hinotori and Gura's Reflect, and maybe some others I might have missed. Simply awesome. Also timetravel and alternate universes go hand in hand, since it is thought that once you go back in time another universe is created, another timeline so to speak. Ame reset time from the absolute beginning (you can see the big bang in one of the scenes) in hopes things might turn out differently, which has obviously failed multiple times already. Lots of possibilities of what might happen next...

It is as if the past and the present now happen simultaneously, connected by the flow of events shown in the movie, which would be weird. If something in the past happens, it would take effect right away, not an arbitrary amount of time later (like the changing of the photos). Also still don't think time travel to the past is even possible, but if it is I think it would split the timeline.

Just to clear up some confusion about the Ina bit, it's not an alternate timeline Ina. Ina is inside the ancient ones similar to venom from marvel. The Ina that held the ancient ones back from choking Gura was basically just a representation of Ina's mind fighting back and taking back control of her body. This was a good video tho 10/10 reaction and ∞/10 animation. The Hololive community is eating good this year, we got the Detective Diaries by Crash Landing Studios, we're getting Fauna's HoloweEN series, and now this.

Different from our Ame, this Ame could only reset the timeline hoping for a variable change. Our Ame can actually connect worlds (like space powers), and perhaps it's because Sana is not present (or gitched out) in Mazumaro's world that Mazu's Ame is unable to. She can only see glimpses of the worlds that could be, which also gives her hope that her action could give birth to one of those possible worlds. (Perhaps she can move to the other worlds but that wouldn't really solve the problem of her own world.) I guess that's another factor of why our world is the good/true ending. Sana existed in our timeline, albeit for a short time 🥲... her existence mattered a whole lot, not only for Ame's power but also as Ina's friend and fellow follower of AO. Man, this still gives me the feels.

Ina couldn't stop the Laser cause it was not her attack, if you listen closely you can hear the Bird Cry of Kiara during the slowmo, it was an attack of Kiara against the Ink-Demon and it just redirected it against Ina, Gura and Watson

From what I've understand is that everytime Ame destroys the tape it means to create another timeline again and leave Ame's corpse there, I think the tape metaphors as deleting a whole data from a game that would restart once again, By the time Ame destroyed her universe; Another universe will be added. In this case that all timelines is like; Pretend all timelines are live streams and if you delete it there would be another live stream again. That's the situation what Ame did, Since the first video is said as the "Bad Ending" it obviously means everyone dies. But because of Ame's doing; She created a new timeline which would be I assume the "Good Ending" Edit: I predict the 1××××,××××,×××××××,×××× time stamp is like when would the bad stuffs happen or there may be a chance its how many times Ame tried to save the girls but ended up destroying the universe

Personally I think there's NO new timeline created, i think ame was just wrong on that. The way time reverse was shown, it looks like it's just the same timeline, and ame's soul left her body and eventually go into a new body, but it's still the same soul.

For Ame, it would definitely seem like a "different timeline" after seeing multiple Ame-copies lying on the ground, but from the Council's perspective it's definitely a singular entity. Multiverses actually make no sense beyond being a thought exercise, and no scientist worth their salt give it any serious consideration (it's usually the ones selling books, the science-philosophers, to the masses that push stuff like that).
