Badr was a generational inspiration, through his art(fighting), I was in awe the first time I saw him fight! Outside the ring...very troubled, now in decline as he is getting older... Badr is one of the nicest people outside the ring, he has a temperament like most Moroccans but it takes a lot to get him in rage the dude he smashed inappropriately touched his wife. Also he has multiple charities and free workshops around the world. He single handily made kickboxing what it is with more than 90 knockouts. Everyone who knows fighting respects the man, you will too one day.

In theory Badr is not too old, for boxing u can still be a in your prime, in kickboxing you will more quickly have blessures. But Badr fought so little in recent years, had troubles in his life and is pretty much a mentally unstable guy. So he will have "ring rust", Rico is still more in his prime I think and he should beat Badr here. Even if Badr can punch hard and touch, hurt or even knock down Rico, Rico is strong and will fight back, and we have seen in the past Badr his chin is questionable to say the least. I see Badr only winning if he manages to get a clean hit on Rico like the spinning back kick for example he molled Leko with. But chances to that aren't very high I assume...

Yeah Rico looks mentally stronger, but we know how Badr is pretty much an unstable person, in and out of the ring.. His best days are long gone and he never won the K1, despite his talent. I think he can only win this rematch with a "lucky shot" or a clean shot otherwise Rico will be too much for him, especially over 5 rounds..

Because for me It's Rico's conditioning not just physically but mentally over the years I hear (mainly) the Dutch fighters say it - Heart. Call people chicken heart, small heart.
