Considering Onomatopoeia is known to go after non-powered heroes like Green Arrow and Batman make him a dangerous foe

Loved this episode! Very tense with a great twist! Love the Gordon's! I think it was smart to make Barbra a lawyer. Batman shows and comics always do well when they involve the GCPD and flesh out their characters.

0:09-0:24. You are spitting facts. Go Onomatopoeia.

Corrigan was corrupt in Gotham Central. And I thought Onomatopoeia was kind of lame

One thing that's just felt off to me is how little Batman/Bruce Wayne seems connected with the rest of the cast. Now yeah Batman wasn't in this episode as much but that's fine, I mean he doesn't have a strong bond with everyone else as Batman or Bruce Wayne. Yes I know we're in his early years so there's time to work on it, but he doesn't even have that with Alfred. In Batman TAS Batman had great working relationship and partnership with Commissioner Gordon and other cops. In 2004 The Batman even though the cops were against Batman at the start Bruce Wayne was old friends with detective Ethan Bennet and later his partner Yin and Batman eventually started working together with Yin and the Gordon. But here Batman is the most distant from everyone, not having any personal connections and even his work relationships are thin. This show was advertised as being darker with a dark take on Batman and I'm not saying that's a bad thing but it is something that takes time to adjust to

Ya it's going to take awhile to adjust to. But hey maybe that's a good thing. We might get something original and interesting out of this batman since he's so distant currently.

I really enjoyed this episode. It wasn't the least bit predictable. I was a little sad for you. I know how much you love that onomatopoeia character. A lot of people don't seem to like this version of Batman. I think he's awesome. Really dig Barbara.

Barbara is awesome on this show for sure, especially in the season finale.

Also when I said "this episode" in my last comment I meant episode 5.

I loved this episode, but man, Onomatopoeia deserved more shine

Ya, hopefully he returns, and they get more creative with his animation.

Maybe next season.

Not up on the comics and Onomatopoeia. But from your hype, I was expecting a lot more. He seems like an average guy with a target practice mask over his face. Some kicks and punches, not much else. Fav part of episode was Batman appearing outta nowhere in Barbara’s office.

Ya they didn't use him to his full potential yet. Hopefully he does more next season.

So actually I still haven't watched past episode 5 and will catch up later today. But I wanted to bring up my biggest problem with the episode, and honestly the show in general thus far, which is Batman. Batman is such a non-entity in this episode and show. The show might have Batman on the title but it more so feels like "Gotham City: Batman Sometimes Shows Up". Everything they talked about in interviews like Bruce Wayne being the disguise, and most things they mentioned about this version of Batman feels so superficial so far. It isn't untrue in any way but it also feels hardly explored. It feels like we're never seeing anything from his perspective and again he is the main character. Does it improve after episode 5?
@dcenthusiast2 ай бұрын
It improves slowly after episode 5. Episode 8-10 start to show batman's side and emotions a little more, especially his guilt toward Harvey Dent. The second half of the season does a way better job of balancing characters and including batman more. Hamish Linklater even gets some cool lines in the finale.
