I've been hoping that more people would discover and react to Ren's fun side, with tracks like this and What You Want, to show his versatility. You shouted out whoever did the beat... that'd be Ren too, he produces his own material, in this case obviously reworked from the FISHER original. Perhaps the most mind blowing thing about this track to me is that he was producing these rap retakes as fun little side projects while working on his album, and they're better than 99% of artists' best efforts. Another one to come this week apparently, and Ren has hinted that it's based on a UK rock anthem from the 90s. My money's on Song 2.

LISTEN MATE!!! I'm a 57 y/o US military contractor, in a third world hell hole in Niamey, Niger. At any rate I get quite a load of idle time, so I take in a bit of Y/T. So... Aboot a week ago I came across HI REN, and spent the next 4 days processing the genius I had just witnessed and was blown away at the numbers of people doing reaction flicks, as I watched countless people that were as deeply affected as I was after watching that cinematic, piece of musical artwork. Go back to HI REN and notice his light and dark silhouette shadows cast on the floor, it's all just a work of art! So then I moved onto Jenny and Screech, but could only watch it once, cause there is SO MUCH there to uncrate, but it will definitely be tackled before going home at the end of my work rotation, at the end of the month. Yesterday I watched LOOSING IT, and like the previous 2 videos, I watched reaction videos, because I love seeing someone take the ride w/ me for the first time. Long story short, after watching your reaction video here, I can see that this kid has your full attention, like he has mine. Artists such as this prodigy, only come once in a lifetime my friend. Elvis Presley, Jonny Cash, John Lenon, the list is short, but the genius you are witnessing is something special. YOU BLOKES HAVE A BLOODY NATIONAL TREASURE ON YOUR HANDS, head to Brighton and get a leash on that kid!!!!!!!! He's absolutely brilliant, and I'm so glad I came across your video!
