WHY AM I DONG IT THIS WAY?
A lot of channels do Patreon or KZbin Memberships at a cost to the viewer which puts a lot of content behind a paywall, meaning it is pay to view, and a large amount of the subscriber base miss out on a lot of content, or the quality of the content available to non members reduces. I don’t like this approach.
My way - EVERY one will get to see ALL content. If you aren’t in a position to donate - you still get to see ALL content and your current experience of the channel will NOT change at all. If you do want to support the channel then you get to decide how I prioritise the videos.

I hope you keep doing these because Juice encompasses exactly how I've felt my entire adult life. Ive talked to multiple psychologist, psychiatrist, etc.. and sadly most people that are in this field don't actually understand depression and anxiety, they just study it and want to give different pills. When the truth is we no longer want to gradually get better and eventually, sometime way in the future, maybe, be neutrual with Wellbutrin and trazadone. We want the euphoria from percs or other opiods so we can feel normal with friends, have fun, and enjoy life now, not in a distant future that might not even come, but with something we know works, even if one day it takes everything from us. You talk about the why hell and never heaven. Ive never heard you talk about Africa, thats because thats not where you live. Juice talks about hell because truly, that's where he lives. I enjoy his music because its hard for me to talk about these issues because I do very well in life and every family member, friene, and professional I talk to beings up how well I'm doing, I dont need to feel this way. So now I self medicate and walk through the abyss of my success hiding all my drugs inside my body while everyone sees me as better and happy because now its all my responsibility to figure it out.

I feel this comment so much - it literally gave me chills as I read it. It just about perfectly encapsulates my adult life through age 29, which was when my casual use of percs and coke (which had in reality been gradually increasing in frequency and importance over a period of years) finally reached critical mass and became a full blown addiction which, in an astonishingly short period of time, led to me insufflating (i.e. sniffing) heroin. Which soon after, in an even more astonishingly-er short period of time, resulted in me losing literally everything including my business, my near-six-figure income, my life savings, and my wife - marking the end of what I now consider my previous life. Then, after a mostly worthless 28 day stay in rehab, it took 2.5 years of insincere attempts at sobriety, numerous relapses, a semi-intentional overdose, and (most importantly) getting on methadone before finally regaining/rediscovering an interest in being alive. Followed by another 2.5 years focusing solely on my mental health while battling intermittent periods of nihilistic apathy. Which brings me to the present (I’m now 34), and while my life is far from where I’d like it to be, I can say with 100% honesty that my mental health is better than ever and is in fact quite good. I should also say that a big part of it for me was finally taking seriously and looking into the autism spectrum diagnosis I received while I was in rehab, which I had previously just kinda dismissed and done nothing with; learning that autism masking is a thing was absolutely mind blowing and life changing, and the more I understand my own particular brand of neurodivergence as well as learn to unmask in appropriate & healthy ways, the easier/better everything else becomes. So, yeah - I suppose I don’t really know what my point is, exactly, or if I even have one, but uh… there you go.

@@doomtho42I know exactly what you mean I started methadone and I thought I would start that and never touch fentanyl again but it didn't work like that I had to work on my mental health and the root of why I wanted to use and what I was covering up from my life to feel no pain from it before I could do only methadone and not touch the other shit and to this day I'm still working on it I still fuck up but I'm still going and still trying!

Great reaction mate!! The animation at the end shows what struggles Juice was going through. At the start he’s fighting 3 demons these are stress, anxiety and depression. He beats them demons but then the 3 demons turn into one big one. This big demon represents drugs. He loses the battle with this demon and gets sent to the sky. He carries on his battle in the sky which he wins. This shows that even though drugs defeated him, his music is helping so many people through drug struggles. Juice then has one last look at his fans and the people hes helped. Then he flies away and rests with the stars forever✨.

Juice Wrld from what I know was struggling with anxiety and stress due to the fame that he accumulated in a short period of time and the fear of not living up to the hype or in other words underperforming. Also, he had his heart broken from girls in the past so that is the reason why he has tons of songs (All girls are the same , Lucid dreams, ect) mentioning relationship problems . He also made love songs dedicated to his girlfriend(s) before passing which shows how dedicated and reliant on true love he was. Key words for Juice's music are: Vulnerability, Relatability, Freestyles, Hard truth , many times hype! (He also had the ability to make songs with deep lyrics sound cheerful and have a nice vibe)!!

Juice is truly a legend and one of the best artists of our generation, that millions of peoople relate to. His emo rap style took over for a reason, most young adults nowadays feel very similar to him and also struggle with mental health or/and addiction, so listening to his music is very helpful. And his work ethic was very good thankfully, so we have about 3-4 thousand songs from him in his very short time being here.

7:35 Juice was always, I think, in pain over making sure everyone and their experience was good, and he didn't want things to fall completely apart... he put so much pressure on His own self! With regards to his girlfriend, no he loved her dearly and she loves him, the beautiful eyes deceiving is more a statement of the general danger of trusting people .. especially because everyone was loved/beautiful to him. Wanting for that 999, flipping all those 6s, was his whole hope about what he's being about. Thank you for your thoughtful reaction & comments

It also references his exes, as much as people like to hate on Alli after all of this, she’s also heavily addicted to drugs and is probably in a similar mental state to juice before he passed. I’ve been in this type of relationship, it’s like you’re willing to give in to the rest of your problems because someone else who understands them is there with you.

The moral of the animation: he was fighting his demons (stress, anxiety and depression hence there are 3 of them). He ends up beating them all then they all combine to form a purple demon which reflects the battle Juice WLRD was fighting against drugs. That demon is purple as Juice liked to abuse lean and it has the colour purple. Lean is a common drug made from sprite, codiene cough syrup and purple jolly ranchers. He unfortunately loses this battle, just like how in real life he died due to a drug overdose and wakes up in the sky ( a reference to the saying "rest in the stars"). His death wasnt going to stop his battle and legacy live on that's why he continues to fight. His mother created the live free 999 charity in his honour to help young people speak and talk about their struggles with depression, anxiety, stress and addiction. He then looks down on the world and reflects on his short but impactful time here.

Though I'd like to say, Juice didn't die from an drug overdose, he died from drug toxicity and a lot of people seem to not know the difference. A drug overdose is when you take too much of something at one time and your body truly can't handle it. Drug toxicity is more like taking a lot of drugs as time passes, Juice was taking a good 20+ pills a day for like I'd say 6+ months for sure. The damage his body was taking was small but it built up as time passes unlike an overdose which is just a lot of damage dumped on the body at one time.

@klmx6 juice isn't that stupid, like Chris longs said🤷‍♂️juice could've flush them down the toilet or gave em to Chris himself so if anything Chris would've gone jail for a night or 2 and not juice, although Juice was taking an absurd number of pills at the time, what kind of person would down a whole bottle of pills to hide them from the police as if the police couldn't do a drug test or just see how faded you are, even if juice were to survive downing a whole bottle of pills, I doubt he could've even walk or even get up off the floor or even talk

When he says, "Pour a 4, sip it slow, make the time pass" in the second verse before the chorus, a 4 is referring to, "ounces" because he would drink lean, and it's measured in ounces. So he'd drink it to help the time pass

When he said “eyes deceiving” he means that her eyes are so beautiful it’s distracting him from seeing the truth into doing more stuff like drugs and other things like that. And I think the reason why he talks about hell so much is because of all the bad doings he’s done like drugs, alcohol, having pre marital sexual encounters, and more so that what I personally believe why he talks about going to hell so often. Juice was 1 of a kind, he did enjoy having all his fame because he could help out other people dealing with the same stuff that he was dealing with, and that is one of the reasons he got so famous because so many people can relate to him. He had alot of good fans and people around him, but the reason the was in so much pain is because the people around him didn\t really help him, they listened to his songs as if they were bangers, but didnt hear a word he was saying in his songs. I really resonated with what you said about constantly looking for quick relieve when it comes to anxiety. This past year I‘ve been actively recovering from OCD in form of mostly intrusive thoughts and I can say that I‘ve almost fully recovered after 9 months. Anxiety is meant to be felt in its entirety not thought or pushed away etc. Neuroplasticity is a real thing. I‘ve been witnessing it first hand. Only a year ago I was on SSRI because it was that extreme. Now I manage to continue my studies again and have become a way better and more resilient version of myself and am still continuing to do so.

When he mentions demons or the devil, the demon part is about his struggles addiction, anxiety, depression. In the video he’s fighting the demons aka his struggles And the devil is probably his inner voice telling him to do the drugs to stop the demons. Whats so relatable to listening to juice is that when he mentions demons you can reverse that line to think about your struggles whatever your going through. This is such an important conversation to have and most of the young doesn’t know where to find it. Back in 2020 as a high school senior, for the first time I developed full blown anxiety attacks, my parents and I thought I was dying the first time it hit me. All the doctor could tell me was here’s some Xanax, let me know if you need more, have a nice day. At the time it was so bad I needed the xans but I refused to allow it to become my crutch or my main way of coping. Here we are 4 years later, I don’t have any anxiety, my mental health is in a much better place, I don’t take any pills, I don’t drink, I’ve stared making money with my own business, I’m in good shape. I don’t say any of that to brag but just if anyone ends up reading this looking for hope. Things do get better if you stay strong and keep taking steps forward every single day, no matter how small.

As a psychology student his music speaks to me as well, I’ve been a fan for a while and the line “beautiful eyes deceiving” to me means to distract himself with relationships (he mentions this in his other music) I would love to hear your thoughts about the song “coralline” it’s unreleased if I’m not mistaken

Just found your Channel, great content, bro. I’m a huge juice fan so I always enjoy seeing others analyzing his music and understanding his message. There are a lot of great unreleased songs of his, if you’d ever like to check them out on your own time. Not sure how KZbin would handle the copyright situation on those. Much love, man.

The over ice I’m freezing is just a reference to the previous line saying his heart is on ice. It is a metaphor referring to the numbing of emotions caused by the drugs as mentioned in wishing well. I hope this helps!

Definitely need to see some more juice wrld reactions. Great channel concept and nice unbias reaction keep it up. Also pretty sure he had a rocky relationship with his at the time girlfriend, he has a few songs about her or mentioning her Ally Lotti. Also just a little tip you probably already know, you can turn captions on to maybe see missed lines as then you can still watch the music video without lyrics blocking the screen

Juice likens himself to some sort of religious saint; white is considered a color of holiness in many faiths, hence why he feels “righteous.” Furthermore, “codeine runneth over” alludes to “my cup runneth over”, a popular quotation from Psalm 23:5, a Bible verse that reads: Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. The idiom is used to describe having an overflowing abundance of something; Juice has an excessive amount of codeine. It’s very peculiar to see the contrast between the chorus, where there are many references to christianity and then the verses where he seems to be scared of going to hell, and this is a frequent theme of his music. Even tho in the end of his music we can often see how he tries to help his audience and a sight of positivity between all the negativity, like “Yeah, we'll make it out, I know We'll run right through the flames, let's go”. Juice really tried to help his audience to go through the lows of life and you should react to “man of the year” if you wanna hear more of that

4:25 "Over Ice, I'm freezing" may refer to the "iced out" watch he is wearing. He often refers to a piece of jewlery made out of diamonds as "ice" or even "water" or "ocean". So what he might be saying is that he is freezing even though he got all this high-value jewlery on him. Great video so far

Juice is my all time favorite artist. LLJW. As a 16 year old, in this day and age, this is how so many people feel about everyday life, including me, i feel like im still stuck in this infinite loop of depression that i can only escape from with the use of opioids and marijuana, I dont want to burden those close to me, but i dont know how much more i can take. I need help but it feels uncomfortable to open up, almost worse than dealing with it. I feel embarrassed opening up with people. I feel weak, I know im not the only person encountering such problems and even others have dealt with worse. sorry for sort of ranting, i just had to get this off.

"never seen a hell so cold" is a play on words, like in burn, juice is conveying that earth is hell to him, but it's not the common depiction of hell with all the heat and flames, etc. thus... never seen a hell so cold.

I'm no therapist but from what I heard from you and my own assumptions, what was just drinking to get over breakups, turned to not dealing with that pain so it magnified itself which lead him to hide his feelings from those he thought he could trust. Over the years he's grown to need more and more drugs to feel that high and escape his pain and at the same time that old pain is getting worse. On top of that, he blew up and got rich at that rough time so instead of possibly focusing on healing he now had to put out music and he now has SO MUCH money while all he knows is drugs and partying further pushing him away from coping, but when he comes down from that high he feels all that pain and anxiety kicking his brain into overdrive pushing him to go take more drugs to stop that pain again because that's what he's been doing.

Anxiety, Depression, Dissasociation. I call it the black hole Trifecta. A combination of these things gives us the sense of hopelessness, and the inability to fully connect with people. We feel the most normal when we self medicate. Its a vicious cycle because even tho theres a possibility you may die from the things youre taking, you feel dead anyway.
