Hardy goes from country to rock to almost metal. The country metal stuff is crazy cool. His whole album has good lyrics videos on YT. As the track numbers go up the harder the music gets. The mockingbird and the CROW is an awesome mix of both, and an awesome perspective from a songwriter. Hint at looking st the tracks, lowercase are country upper case are ROCK. Love the reaction, I'm actually going to see Hardy in concert in about 10 days. I'm excited.

Great reaction, thank you for sharing your opinions. A 'judge under a seat' is referring to the hand gun, at one time a judge was a specific model but over time that changed to be any handgun kept under the seat. This video always gets to me, I was one of the lucky ones, I was able to disappear with my 3 children after years of abuse, but many don't have a way out.

As a DV survivor myself i can relate so much. I even walked in the rain after being kicked out of the apartment. When i finally got away and told my dad, even now almost 2 years later my dad says if he evrr sees him its "on sight". I love how hardy has absolutely no regrets either. My dad sat me down and told me no matter what i will never get hurt again by him. And that he will gladly go to jail for unaliving the man who almost ended mine and my sons life (he is the father and my son wasnt even born yet)

This song hits me in the deepest dark places of my soul every time!! I grew up dealing with ugliest parts of a man weak enough to put his hands on a woman! My step-dad the biggest P.O.S the good lord ever bothered to create! Anyone who grew up the way I did will totally get this the hardest part of being a child living this ugly story! Being to small to little to do anything! You are frozen in fear the first few times that sound wakes you up at 3am you know what it is immediately it’s a feeling in your gut you can not understand if you’ve never lived it! But something changes a little each time! Eventually anger is your first response not fear! I literally remember the first time the tears didn’t come the anger consumed me! But I was so young so little my anger only protected me it couldn’t do anything for my mother! Thank God she finally found her Courage and took our life back! Literally we moved out of the Darkness into the light! Literally it was being able to breathe again! Please don’t feel sorry for me my childhood wasn’t perfect none of them are! Honestly it taught me exactly what I would not ever in any way shape form or fashion tolerate in my own life. I never have one person I refuse to call anyone who is low enough to hurt a woman any kind of a man. Real men don’t abuse they protect! But one person hit me one time! His dumb ass then walked into the kitchen opened a cabinet to get a glass and I put every ounce of anger I ever had into slamming that cabinet door on his head! I immediately left came back the next day only to move out everything I owned and I never looked back! For me Hardy is the Hero in wait in the truck! His response is exactly as it should be where is he!! The biggest thing that hits me in this video is he literally takes her chains off and puts them on his self! He opens her cage and sets her free while locking his self in! Absolutely a beautiful thing he sacrificed his self for her! Real men protect weak bitches abuse and hurt! There is never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever any excuse for a man to put his hands on a woman period! Sure I am biased but it truly makes me sick there is nothing more pathetic than a man with Kool-Aid running through his veins and pure evil in his heart! Ladies trust me know that I know first hand anyone who loves you will never ever hit you! Love does not ABUSE period stop telling yourself he cares about you he doesn’t think about how you love could you ever look in the face of someone you love and raise your hand in anger and hit them! All that ugly evil anger you feel each time he punches you or kicks you that’s who he is and it will never ever change there’s never just one time! They hit you once they will do it again! You did nothing wrong it’s not your fault there is nothing wrong with you trust me he has worked very hard to break you down to destroy your spirit! Any woman strong enough to deal with abuse especially physical abuse is more than strong enough to stand up on her own! Take your spirit back move out of the dark into the light! Your are more than enough you will find real love you do not need him! Leave him with his cowardice let him hate his self let him feel sorry for his self he lives in the dark you do not have to!! Love yourself first if you have babies live then first love those babies enough to give them a safe peaceful childhood do not put them through seeing you be abused! Yay!!! This is one of my favorites. I'm supprised you don't know much about Hardy. He's been the #1 song writer for likenthe last 3 years at one point he was holding every song in the top 10 as the song writer but were performed by others. He wasn't singing them because somefolks in Nashville told him he wasn't good enough. BET THEY FEEL STUPID NOW. He's written a ton of Florida Georgia Line, Locash, Morgan Walen, and Blake Shelton. This is off topic of the song but you said about reaching out to you. I just want to tell anyone reading this, Cliff means what he says. I deal with almost all of this things he says to reach out to him with. I’ve never done it, but I do know he MEANS what he says. It’s not for clicks. I’ve been a huge fan of Hardy for a while now (even have a cd in my car of his-yes a physical cd) and while I’ve been a huge country fan most of my life, I’ve ‘seen the light’ and now follow mostly independent artists as thr artist matters more than the genre to me at this point now and I LOVE the rock side of Hardy!!! Sold out was on replay for a long while and most recent is not a radio song because the lyrics are so true!! This song blew me away and then to see video with it was even heavier. I love this song. Because I was her many many years ago but I didn't have an angel to save me because my 1st husband finally killed himself. This song brings tears to my eyes because he was mentally & physically abusive & controlling. I can tell you just how bad it got but I won't. I suffer from PTSD because of it, which I never knew I had until my nurse friend told me I had a mild case & that I hide it well. Certain things trigger me all these years later & I never understand what. It'll never go away, but it did make me stronger because I don't tolerate bs from anybody... especially my 2nd husband. I survived & have 2 great kids (adults now 19 & 18) that love me even with my past baggage. Their dad, 2nd husband still doesn't understand what I went through to survive. Though I told him everything.

Such a powerful song and video. I am a survivor of domestic violence. I kept making excuses for him, as dumb as that sounds, it's true. It wasn't until he said to me, "LOOK AT WHAT YOU MADE ME DO!" That's when the light kicked on, and I had him arrested and never looked back. It's easy for an outsider to say why she doesn't she just leave him. Unless you are in that situation, you will never really don't know how you'll react. We believe so much of the abusers BS that we truly don't believe that we deserve to be loved or treated with respect. We spend a lot of our lives going from one bad relationship to another. We have been beaten down so much in our lives. Unfortunately, there are so many people who don't leave domestic violence alive. Great vocals 👏. Once, I was finally clear of the abuse I learned to love and respect myself. When I first got together with my current husband of 33 years, I told him that he better not even think about laying a hand on me, and if he did, then he better make it count because that would be the one and only time he ever did. That by the time I got done with him, god wouldn't even be able to recognize him. As the good book says, an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth. I don't advocate violence of any kind in reality, but with the way our judicial system is now a days, it's catch and release. The good book has it right.
