Just a quick tip on cooking seafood pasta with mussels: Always cook the mussels separately from the other seafood to avoid dirt or “gunk” contaminating the sauce once you’ve cooked the mussels separately you can remove the mussel from its shell and add it to the sauce at the end. And if you want to, you could add the shell onto the pasta as decoration.
