Crock pots rock! I have 3 different sizes although I live alone. Potatoes in one, meat in another, and veggies in the third. The mid century chairs were neat. A salon hair dryer? Wow!

PLEASE don’t clean that weathervane! Take it to an antiques dealer first. Copper weather vanes can be worth a whole bunch of money, but they have to be in their original found condition, dirt and grossness intact. GREAT VIDEO! Thanks for taking us along👍🏽!

The weather vane is good for actual use. They are made from thin metal so they turn easily in the wind. Any company that sells weather vanes will sell the roof mount that adjusts to various roof pitches. They will also sell pergolas that can be roof mounted and the weather vane put on top. The ground mount is for folks who don't want to climb on a roof or have it professionally installed. I used to sell weather vanes, and yes, this is a functional item for a roof.

I dont know about where Taco lives, but backed up against the woods, i would never have a doggy door. You can end up with opossums, mice, rats and even foxes in your house.

The weather vane could bring a few bucks. I used to trash pick with my wagon, during the beginning of WW2, out of my need for some money to buy a few things. Money was really tight in the late 30's and early forties, as you know, we were coming out of the great depression. I think the old man was making less than $50 per week, trying to support my mom her mom 2 kids and himself, with regular costs per month. The movies were only 10cents, but that was we got as a gift. non extra for candy or popcorn or drink. If mom gave me a quarter, I'd better bring back that 15cents change, or else! Mostly I collected bottles that were deposit ones, and I would collect a wagon full and cash them in for a few cents. It was enough to buy popcorn or candy or a drink. That trash picking was a necessity. Where are you located? I'm in North East Ohio. 5 miles east of Cleveland!

I believe those weather vanes were old and taken off old houses and the one was just put on a hand made stand. That first one was awesome. I'd pay $100 for that to put in my front yard. I went picking the other day in the used truck I bought. I bought one for $1,300 because I need to remodel a house and totally empty out another house and got sick and tired of asking for help. I loaded up one load for the dump and had to pay $20. One guy jumped up and helped me unload it but the dryer and he took it on his truck LOL. Anyway, I found an old 6 drawer dresser painted an awful brown. I got it home and put that citrus strip on it. The old paint came off like a charm and I let it dry. I rubbed it down with some wax and now I need someone to carry it upstair for a bedroom I found a cool 3 step ladder and a round metal chair I want to sand completely and paint for a kitchen chair I can use by my stove.
