When he said grew up too fast he meant when he had to take on the responsibilities of an adult when his mom used to work 9-5 shifts while his grandmother was sick. His dad was never there so I guess he got into the streets like the lyric where he said “watchin n*ggas get blown back” and then he found music and eventually got signed by a label.
