MJ was way ahead of his time with this song. This is actually a song that the whole world should listen to today. MJ is singing about how we have destroyed the world. The song is about that we need to do everything we can to restore what we humans have destroyed. Watching the video you can see how MJ's singing is 'trying' to reverse the time of the world to the time before deforestation, war, climate crisis. This song makes me tear up every time I hear it and think about how stupid and selfish we humans has been and unfortunately still are. 😢

This is my favorite MJ song, makes me cry EVERY time it plays( a hopeful, greatful, inspirational cry). My impression of its meaning: so much pain and destruction to mother earth and ourselves going on that we envoke her to step in. She wakes up and starts to right herself. We have to hold on tight cuz its a rough ride while she reverses all the mess going on. When she's done, peace and tranquility are restored. I cry at the idea that something so powerful and hopeful could step in and do an enough-is-enough intervention on humanity.
