I really like how nowadays people open their mind to different genres and expanding their knowledge. So gonna keep this all 100. I'm a middle aged white dude grew up on G&R this is one of my favorite songs from highschool for sure. I had a great imagination back then and had lots of thoughts and dreams of future. I could have made a list of 1000 things i would love to experience in my life - and it would never have included watching three black people - all of whom are some of my favorite people in the world getting stoned and rocking out on hotel couch to Guns & Roses song recorded 35 years earlier!!! I've always thought the Jungle represented the street life, the hustle, the effort to survive. Police brutality, drugs, crime, all the things many associate with the hood are represented in this video. White, black, Latino, whoever, the poor and the underrepresented are always victimized and marginalized. Lyrically, this song is far deeper than many people realize. and the instrumental flow is off the charts as well.
