In September of last year, I had an abscess above my liver, and the doctors have no idea how it got there, because the bacteria that caused the infection was bacteria normally found in the gut. My last surgery had been 2016, so it didn't seem likely to be from that. It was so strange listening to you tell the story, and it being almost word for word the exact same experience, just a different location. My doctors also said they didn't think it was because of the Crohn's, but it's not a stretch to think it's related to the surgery. Glad you're feeling a bit better now :)
