In this video, we see the aftermath of a scary accident after John Tillman's run during the last Reign of Rocks.
Reign of Rocks Driver Steven Reeder wanted to drive down to camp in the dark while the competition was still going on.
Barley anyone noticed him leaving. Right after John's run one of our camera guys heard someone screaming in the woods.
Everyone on site dropped everything that they were doing and ran towards the voice coming from the dark woods.
This accident is a great example of the importance of safety when off roading! No matter when and where you are. Steven was "just leaving" and thought he was on the main trial...

Safety and recovery equipment is everything. From the point of rollover to the point of recovery. I'm glad to see it's going to be a fairly easy fix and Steven will be ready to hit the trails again with us. So thankful everyone is safe.

Just did a recovery at the Hammers this past Friday. A guy slid off a sand hill going into Sledgehammer. Got him out. Great job!👍😁

And this is why I'm ordering my PRP seats tomorrow and already have my PRP harnesses and harness bar in my shop. I have more stupid in me now than smart so I'm trying to stay alive. Stock Rubicons or any vehicle for that matter need safety 1st. I'm learning. Shit happens quick!!!

Matt’s off-road recovery went up some radio tower ridge trails to recover a crashed plane way back in no trails and at one a the steep climbs , the trail takes a sharp right the left side drops and right side climbs tilting you very off camber leaning on the edge of the trail and it’s literally 45-50 degree constant slope a good 3,000 feet or so , no trees , jsut flat grass . They got up and the pilots brother comes around it last in line in a 2 seat SxS little farm rig and he’s a BIG guy no passenger so it’s leaning left already and man he hit that. Passenger rise simultaneously driver drops and it flipped right up to start a perfect car wheel off the trail. 100% thought he was dead . Cartwheels twice leaning up on the ONLY jutting out piece of rock halfway Down it’s rotation stopping nose in the air over the rock with jsut 1 tire on the ground, 2 inches left or right and it would have just pivoted a hair and continued its cartwheel 3,000 feet , be nothing left . Never seen a worse place to role thst also had the best lit rock to save your life lol. Bleepin Jeep was there .

Not sure what trail that was. Little Caesar’s has a exit behind the 3rd obstacle in Reign of Rocks. He drove down that trail and turned left too early
