I just heard this yesterday for first time, I have good loving parents and drive them crazy all day every day ❤ I’m stay up their butts! Live close by my parents too!! kids also up my parents butts! We love meme and papa! They can’t get rid of us. Their perfect! But when I heard this, to hear that man’s misery coming out every note that man sang and that fire in this song he wrote! I've got an odd job: making captions for live broadcast television with my voice. (relevant to point 3) 1. Sceez - you're a phenomenal reactor. your intuition, deductive reasoning and empathy stand you apart. 2. Nolan made a masterpiece out of real life messiness with this song. Stoked you and everyone listening got to feel that. 3. (Not you or Nolan's doing) but the captions on this video suck. They're just wrong and destroy the subtle, though powerful, genius of his lyrics, particularly in the verses. I feel like this is a common pitfall of KZbin captions, so just a psa to any new listeners loving the content but possibly confused by what they're reading: trust your own ears and your open mind to catch the true emotion of a song without the suppressing influence of crap captions.
