This is the one definitive work proving beyond doubt that Home Free is made up of virtuosos, masters of tone, timing, harmony and performance. They syncronize even the vowel sounds. 5 voices creating one perfect instrument.

One of my favorites! This is Chance’s baby. He directed it. It’s so stunning. Black & white and they’re all in black and it’s just them singing. Love it! Yes, I agree. The only complaint? It’s too short. Great reaction!😍

I’d argue saying this song has their cleanest and clearest harmonies

The video was directed by Chance (no - not inadvertency - Adam Chance). The vocals are just stunning and we even get to hear Adam Rupp sing! A master class on acapella in one song.

Literally the BEST acipella group who ever put voice to tape. Up there with "Pentatonix".

The only thing that makes this song not quite perfect is how short it is, but so is the original.

Such a perfect jewel of a performance. Adam Chance took the lead on this in more ways than one - he also directed the video. And it's always lovely to hear Adam Rupp singing.

Great reaction! Since you loved Chance’s lead in this one it’s now official, you MUST react to I Can’t Outrun You - also directed by Chance who has the lead throughout. It’s just gobsmacking 5-part harmonies (no percussion or beatboxing) with a video that pulls at your heartstrings. Can’t wait for you to finally react to this one - by now you know, Home Free never disappoints!!

I’m old, and always loved the CS&N original version, but Home Free outdid themselves with this. Chance and Rob singing in perfect unison at the beginning before adding the beautiful harmonies truly showcase the incredible talent these men possess. Great reaction!

This is perfect in the same way as "Brothers in Arms". Haunting, beautiful harmonies of 5 guys just singing together as if they were born to do it. I'm so happy I found Home Free 🎉 and love your reactions to them!

Their ability to sync their breathing and time the starts/stops, to sound as one voice. Their 5-part harmonies which bring that rich, signature 'church organ' effect. Amazingly talented, individually, and beyond awesome together.

Especially the first part. The way they match not only their breathing, but the vowel shapes & diphthongs is astonishing!!! ❤💜💙

I grew up listening to Crosby, Stills & Nash & had their album with this song Helplessly Hoping. Absolutely loved them & their harmonies. This song is full of alliterations. Home Free more than does justice to all the songs they cover. And this song is perfection to me with the 5 part harmonies. A true masterpiece! I can't say enough about how great these guys are & humble while still staying respectful to the original song.

There is a live recording of this on YT but it's rare for them to do this live (in my opinion because of how technically hard it is but I don't know if that's the real reason). Needless to say they don't do it live often.

For what it's worth, the original is one of my favorite songs by Crosby, Stills, & Nash and Home Free performed it very much like they did... very plain and exposed with nothing to hide behind. So when I hear that song I get 1cm high goosebumps, it's a perfect case of skill. In addition, the "ambiguous lyrics", the harmonies, the bass - it also does not detract from Qulität that the song is only so short - this is a listening pleasure of the first order... AND right after that comes "Mayday"...

One of my favorites by HF, which is hard since they are all my favorites. I wonder how many times Rob and Chance had to sing to blend their harmonies to sound as ONE voice...think of singing perfectly together, stopping and starting at the same time, same breath. Im no music teacher or vocalist, but I realize their perfection and then when Austin comes in with the High Harmony and then Tim wraps it up with that bass. WOW. This is truly a masterpiece and everytime you listen to it, you hear something new. Great reaction, new sub here. Since Im new here, I hope you do "brothers in Arms" Beautiful music is a healer
