I love that you lost that first game, Leth. I think out of any lesson you teach, that was the most valuable one for me: that you can lose, too. Last night I found myself in a tough game with rough teammates, and I just repeated what you said "I'm just going to focus on my own game,". We ended up coming back from 2 down and winning in OT. Honestly that first game you played is basically almost every game at champ. I genuinely don't want to hate on my teammates, most can hit the ball, some can hit some crazy shots, but they all don't consider their teammates and try to control everything. I still get people who hit the ball off the top of my car in a ground dribble. I get yelled at as last man for not rushing the ball when both my teammates are on the other end of the field. Feels like at this rank you really can't solo queue, cause no-one wants to work with anyone.

really appreciate how every match i have difficult teammates and we lose and i end up trying to make it about how i need to improve. but some games, my teammates literally make it impossible to win even if i wanted to take over and force something. they cant make good touches, have no awareness, and lack positioning. usually ill play passively and have low points on the scoreboard and my teammates try to put all the blame on me.

Idk what it is man but anywhere in the champ ranks, AFK people are just abundant. I rarely had games with people not playing when i was gold or plat but now that I'm in Champ, I'm not exaggerating at least 40% of my games have someone that's AFK on the kickoff and they may or may not ever return lol. And its Champ so it's not like they've been waiting in queue for half an hour or something and forgot.
