I like your stat checking in videos. Big reason why I subscribed. Would of liked to see a stat check on Ba-Boom and New Recruit or anything showing how the #1 players intuition is working with or against the stats (verbally touched on but not visually). Also I think birthday present is great specifically for tournaments bc it prevents griefing. When a player can just get a new 2 star and pivot. I dont think a lot of people realize what KC double61 saw and why he type HWEI 3. its not because he is printing HWEI on bench but rather theres a 1/7 chance that when dishsoap gets level 10, he would get hwei 3 easily.

I think the context of 2 person being at 19 points, meaning they can grief the 3 people in checkmate without any consequences is important as well, and that’s probably why he took bday present over mop cuz 3 costs can be grieved much more easily.

Baboom is just a stronger version of even the Jewel Lotus III. 90% every 2 cast is just 45% crit damage on 100% crit chance every cast. It's more damage and you don't even need to have crit component for it.

I think its really toxic to call out 3* 4/5 costs, I'm sure most of the people in the lobby do it and it can increase your chance of winning, but it's such a lame thing to do, it's one thing for people to be scouting really well and deny someone a 3* 4/5 cost, but to put a target on someone and telling people who might not have noticed to grief them is something that feels like it shouldnt have a place in tft, it is not a team game, but if you tell the lobby you are attempting to gang up with other players to grief someone, just really lame, borderline bullying. Similarly lame to ping denies on the carousel, but nothing feels worse than trying to get an uncontested 3 star 4 cost or 5 cost and then someone spams the chat telliing people to deny and then it actually works and people stop you from getting it.

This set is so garbage, the balancing on the units was below sub-par. 3 star 2 costs dominating and so free and easy to get, even contested can solo win games. However, if you 3 star an Annie with 8 bruiser, 3 star morgana with 2 radiant items, you can't even get top 2. Who the fuck in the right minds thought that 3 star 2 costs should be strong late game? I can't even think of a single 3 cost 3 star that is stronger than senna, qiyana, lux, janna, zyra 3 star. Maybe yone? But that's about it

Imo dish should've stayed on 9 and rolled for lillia or nautilus (so many 4 costs were already out of pool). Even if you want to go 10 for hwei he should've econned two rounds more and then all inned selling his board. Instead he got nervous and all inned at 68 hp to gamba for birthday present hwei. If binteum bothered to position his annie so it killed more units or dish didnt omega high roll nautilus at the end he wouldve got 2nd.

If he wanted hwei 3 and waited two more rounds, the entire rest of the lobby rolls for 1 hwei in those two rounds as well. As far as he knew, on neutrals there were no hweis out so leveling on 6-1 was the right play if he wanted to go for it. It's just hindsight to say wait for two because he missed and someone else was able to hit two hweis on 6-1 rolling. If he stayed 9 to roll for lillia naut then everyone would just hold lillia naut.

You forgot that this is a tournament, as soon as someone nearing 3* any end game champion everyone in the lobby will try to hold said champion. In this lobby environment it's better to keep the tempo rather than going for "the big play".

On the live broadcast. Mort actually says dish didn't really high roll naut. Lvl 10 odds + both boards having a lot of 4* and 6* cost out of the pool simply made naut appear more given the smaller bag size

this is all in hindsight, dish does not know if lilia 3 or naut 3 is enough to go against 8 bruisers annie 3. so going for hwei 3 is the more obvious choice as it guarantees the kill on annie 3.
