I think that level ended with a glitched ending too, it used the POW to release the Goomba mask after touching the goal, and Mario put it on during his victory animation. Normally the masks fall off if you're wearing them and touch the goal

Should be from a Carl sagan's streaming where he was playing lots of these one trick levels. The stream lasts many hours because viewers were keep asking for another one level, "uno mas" precisely. I heard this in a Thab's video.
